Game from the past

 

 

When I was kid, I asked mother about who's ruling Whiterun? 

She said the Jarl Balgruuf..you meet him before

Then I asked does he rules the land around here and Skyrim? She answered, no my dear it is the High King..

And I continuned asking her, does the High King rules other places than Skyrim? She answered no it is the Emperor..

My mother asked, why do you ask it Svenja?

I simply said, I thought about what I want to be when I grown up, I decided, I want be Emperor..

She just laughed, and said My dear daughter, this not how the things work..

Why? I asked sadly

Svenja, I may born in far away from Skyrim, but even I know, you can't be really be the Emperor of Tamriel, but you know what I ask the jarl to teach you a few things about ruling and educate you, so you can play as that..

Ummm..alright..

You may can be Thane in the future if you are big girl..

Thane, thats just lame..

 

Thus my education and the odd game of my childhood began back there..

 

 

I imagined the Ble Palace from Solitude with banners of the imperial dragon with during the games as Empress, I had no idea nor have now, how the imperial palace truly looks, so from the architecture book Imagined the better and less nordic looking style for that. The Throne room was always empthy, I had no idea what kind of people were there.

 

 

Only Emperor I did know was Titus Mede who wa sold, so I thought they are all old grumpy looking people, I imagined myself as older look than my mother witzh the clothing of the weird guest in the Dragon's reach, with a non-nordic crown and fancy jewelry.

 

 

Thinking back there, I did have strong imagination, since it was pretty accurate look compred how I looking now.. a few wrinkless, in early 50s years and scars like what my mother's had and with grumpier sad look.

 

 

The ruling part was simple, I sit there the hole day like Jarl balgruuf and look at the the entrance for the entire day and sometimes yell at people like Proventus or Irilith and talk with dirty farmers who come for audience and stupid nobles who complain about things what I don't understood back there.

 

 

After while I started think, while being Emperor must be fun, ruling started became..

 

 

Boring

 

Jarl Balgruuf never seemed having much fun, while the feel I could rule Tamriel was funny, after while I started read the Great War.

 

 

Of course I had no idea about what I read so only thing I imagined was looking grumpy with the armour what that Tiber person who others mistake as Ymsir weared..

 

 

And with an imperial sword I was ready to fight... eventually I get bored of it and started leaning for other things form the books I found more interesting.. Farengar's educations and books was really boring... eventually I stopped playing this game in my imagination..

 

 

Just seeing one of the books I did read back there made me remember this, nostalgic..

 

Mother was more patient back there, when I decided to be bard she was truly dissapointed. But thanks to my games back there, I was educated, wich wasn't useless after all.

 

Being emperor, I don't even know where this idea came, I don't even like the imperial culture, let alone sit on the throne. Thinking back make me feel a bit embarassed, its not like I could ever became one..
