as you guys know i've been having a pretty bad time lately with life AND with skyrim

 

so to top that off

 

vortex disabled or uninstalled every mod i had

and it didnt even tell me what happened

 

massive set back as im gonna have to reinstall everything and uninstall shit that gets caught up, then i'll have to reorganize load orders and dependencies, rebuild patches, get skin back, re-run bodyslide and generally go through all the problems i did the first time. luckily enb and shit is still there and my face and body presets arent gone (or so i think)

 

i WAS gonna pull an all nighter to try and get myself out of this gigantic hole, but i guess not.

i'll just go back to being sad and eating ice cream, as bad as that sounds.

i dont know when i'll be back, but i obviously need some sort of break, or general time to fix all this shit. 

 

in the end, i'm really just chasing the breeze.

Well at least we do know now to avoid Vortex. :classic_angel:

 

Jokes aside, last time you wrote you were searching for inspiration, not knowing in what precise direction you wanted to aim. So maybe it's not a bad thing that you take some time to think about it, without pressure, to find back the spark that fuels the motivation and originality of an artist's work. In another domain, Smooth Mc Groove took a very long break to think things over. It'll also give you time to install things little by little, just for you, just for playing ; when you will feel it.

 

Anyway, it was fun reading your blog ; take your time thinking what do YOU want to do about it in the future. :classic_wink:

Sorry to hear that. have you ever tried to use two differen't mod managers? Like Vortex nad NMM or Vortex and MO if you still want to try Vortex.

Some LL users using two NMM managers. One that is old and doens't have VirtualInstall option and the new one. Beside that, I always back up all downloaded mods from Nexus and LL since some of them doesn't exist anymore.
