The atmosphere wasn't bad, though I saw something very different for Serana's turning. It is said both of them (her mother and her) were raped by Molag Bal, Harkon being the only exception. I would imagine the daedra doing it by himself. It is also said it was a ceremony, so I would have imagined ceremonial outfits, priests and everything.

One more thing though : when you ask Serana about it, she describes it as a trauma. It would also have left scars (psychological) on her, as she was supposed to be a virgin before the ceremony. That's one of the explanations why, in vanilla game, she isn't marriageable. In my understanding, she would fear to engage  in anything sexual.

Regardless, I imagine, you imagine AND transcribe so I can't criticize too much.

If she was human, her eye would be blue like in her lore cosplay and Harkon and Valerica would look less vampire.

Molag Bal himself refer the day of her turning to Serana, he also threatens Harkon reminding how he turned him to vampire.

The event itself is a simply "offering" for Molag Bal on his summoning day to keep his "good side".

Incest?! - thank god you make this episode.   I love it a lot and I'm glad Serana wasn't raped but she did it willingly.

Well her eyes are hard to see in your picks, I double checked before posting but only Harkon's and Valerica's seemed to glow red. Thus my misunderstanding. Anyway, I still don't see Serana going into incest ; but everyone has his/her own interpretations I guess.

Well I choosed her different eye, than her parents.

Well her family is already devprived enough to worship Molag Bal, and Harkon being Harkon, Serana does not really understand the normal ways until the dragonborn arrives and point out the things.
