Ritual at Dawn

The Dawn came to Driada's kingdown, she was preparring to do an ritual in time when all of her kingdown is in dream, she doesn't wanted them to know what is she up, nor get disurbed during the ritual.

She is chanted the words and used her witchcraft to it, the ritual itself is an form of guidance for her, to help her find what is she seek.

She seek more power and ways to won her war against Markarth, currently she is interested in Sybill of Dibella, but the ritual is may not show her what is she desire, but what is she need for her goals. She put her offerings, blood of her newly found slave, remains of animals and some of the loot.

Driada: Old Gods of the Reach, guide me for my war, for my goals, for my desires...

Driada: Severed Goat head, dead corpse of the mighty beast, blood of my enemies, fresh loot as my offering for your answers..

Driada: Show me the one I seek, the one I desire, the one who might be my greatest ally or worst enemy....

She closed her eyes and was ready to saw the answers what her ritual brought to her.

The one eye seek is may the Sybill or not, she is in the heart of my enemies, one in strong green color, She will leave their heart for seeking her revenge, her goals, her desires...

What is she desire? Love, Power? War? Peace?.... If answer her the right one, she will be mine..., if my answer is wrong, she....

The ritual was done, Driada got a small vision and an answer, she opened her eyes and thought a bit, the vision was blurry she does not recall too much of it.

 

Driada: The only thing I remember is the strong green color, clothing? Eye? Magic? I don't know... I should start ordering my warriors to keep eye on it they might find her... The ritual is flawled and incompleted, she may know I already search her or I caused the entire city weird dreams..

 

Note(When Gwynolda is around, she will be narrate her usual first-person style like she did before...)

After my bathing, I simply went to the Silver-blood in, payed with the gold of the dead Vigilant, I fall sleep in the uncomfortable stone bed in the rented room.

But my sleeping was different this time, I got a weird dream...

In my dream I saw an reachmen woman, Forsworn one, wearing horns in her hair, wearing markings on her body and her face, she is not really weared too much of clothing. She was attractive to myself, I found her rather beautiful, she simply asked me to find her...

 

Forsworn woman: Seek me out..

And my dream ended, I was woke already..

 

Gwynolda: Uhhhhh...

I sat down and thought a bit..

 

Gwynolda: Well this was weird..., this was not an usual one, maybe Vaermina got a bit moody...still she was hot..

Gwynolda: I should get myself ready to leave the city, maybe ask about others to have similar dreams or and listening some rumors..

Pretty sure she would been dreaming something different, if there was no that ritual :smile:, Gwynolda does not know who is her, she was also in love, she probably would recognise if she in love  :smiley: .

Very nice episode. Loved the way you presented "entering" into someone's dream. Magic is powerful although I don't know anything about it. The only magic and I know is the magic of love and sex ;)

I think it's a specific, yet not necessary condition. One can appreciate someone without necessarily loving him/her/them. :classic_wink:

Actually thats side effect, she isn't really "entered" Gwynolda's dream, the ritual's flaw is it actually simply tell'd Gwynolda seek her. Well its kind of old magic wich knowledge is bit of lost, hence why Driada used the way she is and think its not complete, its been forgotten.

 

They know that magic too. ;)
