Lead of the Ravenrock based group: Scarlet Sylphs, Adrea is a happy go lucky mage from Skyrim who left the college of Winterhold after her favorite teacher retired to pursue more fulfilling work.    

 

 

Upon her arrival in Solstheim, Adrea began to work odd jobs & bounties for people in exchange for money and training.  As such, she’s grown into a capable water mage.

 

 

Where her skill in magic lacks, she makes up with her skill in...ahem….”Speechcraft”...

 

Adrea: Master Neloth! Didn’t you say you had some training for me to do today?  

 

Neloth:  Get out of here before I toss you out!

 

 

Some people, however, aren’t willing to part with their secrets so easily.  Luckily she remembers some of her lessons from the College of Winterhold.  

 

Adrea:  Master Neloth, You said you didn’t need this Enchanter’s Elixer right?  

 

Neloth:  Stop it! You’re bothering my apprentice.  

 

 

Adrea:  Oh, I thought you said you needed a Staff ENHANCER...not Enchanter.  

 

Neloth:  You need to cool down…

 

 

*Plop*!

 

Adrea:  mmmmh! Master Neloth really doesn’t want to be bothered today.  

 

 

Adrea:  That’s ok, at least he showed me his teleportation spell. Ga-ga-ga-gotta...w-w-w-write that d-d-d-down.   

 

 

 

 

Dior is the rough and tumble one of the group.  Previously of the Tamriel Fighter’s Guild, Dior left to pursue new experiences in Solstheim

 

Dior: Just gotta loosen up before this next fight.  **Crack**

 

 

She fights with a style of mixed martial arts learned from her masters in Cyrodiil.  She is unexpectedly effective against her opponents, even those in heavy armor.   

 

Dior: Today’s Mission: Remove the Riekling infestation from this cave.  

 

 

Dior:  Whew, gotta take a break from those little Goblins...

 

 

Dior dresses in a manner that is most suitable for her martial arts.  Much to her chagrin, however, it has attracted the attention of most of Raven Rock’s male populace.  

 

Dior:  Could I get some privacy please?  

 

 

Sometimes, she has to go to extreme measures to keep them away.  

 

Dior:  Sure, I’ll let you watch me bathe.  Which finger do you want me to break as payment?  

 

 

Dior:  Do you mind? I’m trying to finish my stretches here!

 

 

Dior:  You are a persistent one.  Fine, I suppose you can watch...but NO touching.  

 

 

The youngest of the group, Eira is the daughter of Reaver bandits.  When she was 16 years old, her mother and father overheard their leader talking about selling Eira into the slave trade to make some extra money.  

 

 

To save their daughter from slavery, Eira’s parents sent her away to Raven Rock with their leader’s prized bow.  Angered with his subordinate’s decision, the reaver had Eira’s parents killed.  

 

 

2 years later, Eira returned the favor by killing him and wiping out his entire bandit camp.  

 

Eira:  Nothing sadder than a bandit treasury with no treasure.  

 

 

Eira now aids the Scarlet Sylphs with her knowledge of the bandit camps in Solstheim and her hunting skills.  

 

 

Also, she is a bit of a cleptomaniac.  

 

Eira:  Now that’s a statue I can turn a profit from!

 

 

Eira isn’t much of a close range fighter, but has been taking lessons with Dior to round out her skill set.  She also began taking style tips from Dior as well.  

 

Eira:  Ok, now tell me truthfully….

 

 

Eira:  Do you think I look better than this statue?  

 

 

 

 

As the most experience member of the Scarlet Sylphs, Varina began her career as a mercenary taking jobs from the Thalmor.  

 

Varina:  What are you doing here?

 

 

She picked up many martial skills from the Thalmor and, as a result of her good work, was given custom built elven armor.

 

Varina:  Oh, so you want to see how I handle my sword?  

 

 

Being a human amongst elves, Varina was often the outcast on her contracts, developing a cool attitude towards others.  It’s not impossible to earn Varina’s respect.  But she can be a bit authoritative with newcomers.  

 

Varina: Wait, you followed me all the way through this tomb?  Did you see my breastplate back there? I think some skeleton bastard ripped the leather holding it together.  

 

 

Behind her bossy-ness is a deep caring for people she considers her friends.  She acts as the de-facto mother for the group.  

 

Varina: So you want to share the loot with me?  

 

 

Varina also has an overactive libido.  Which is both good AND bad for the Sylphs.  

 

Varina:  I’ve got a MUCH better idea.  Come on over here.  

 

 

Varina:  Cave water...probably good enough to clean up with.  

 

 

Varina:  Great, jump in the bath and the Lich finally shows up.  

 

 

 

Together the Scarlet Sylphs have a firm grip on the contract market in Raven Rock.  This has caused other mercenaries to squabble for other contracts the Sylphs passed over or leave Raven Rock for more lucrative markets.  Discontent among the other mercenaries within Raven Rock may hold ill for the Scarlet Sylphs.  Talks of ambush and pooching jobs are common among those can’t find work.  But, the Scarlet Sylphs have been dealing with this discontent since their founding.  So, Do you want to adventure in Solstheim?
