This episode brings and interesting subject. However, not everyone has an interest in TES' lore, so I would advice that when you do such episode, it might be better to insert some story events or some scenario twists, so that you hook even readers only seeking entertainment.

Well the event was she wanted go home from her regular bathing in the river , and she found a recent battle.

She get reminded after all there is the mentioned conflic and  we get its history from her perpective .

I mean its Markath and the Reach, its general wage their own war withouth noticed by other parts of Skyrim, it is there she can try just ignore it while hide in the temple, but its effects still there on the hold and the city.

I planned her kneel down and chant for Arkay, but I scrapped that part it breaked the general meant mood for the chapter.

This entry on Gwinolas story gives her background, and some colour to her character. Making her and all of her adventures more immersive. So when she is back to making love, you might have a different perspective on her and her partner (e.g.).

I don't think it should include story events - since it's not a story. This is a sketch of a character. No drama needed. If I might, I'd even call it a virtualized diary of a halfbreed within the Skyrim lore. Not a bad idea.
