We are ready for the 8^th of March, Women’s Day in the Hotel. Our men in the family were cute. They held a meeting to decide what they would do on that day for us and what they would buy us. Our female workers will have a short party and get a flower, a free drink in the bar, and a 50% discount on any meal in our restaurant. After that, we shall work on the Easter holiday program. Can’t wait to see Davor and Sandra again.

Just as we have our best friends with whom we share everything (I have my Fran, Ivy has Antonio, my Prince has Nick, Silvano has my Prince, and so on and so on, Lidija has a friend that she knows much longer than us and whom we saw few times in passing by but we never truly met her). Anyhow, Lidija called me a few days ago and through the tears asked me if I could come to her place to talk. Since my Prince was playing with our children, I asked my Ivy to join me. (I always have to have an escort, someone who will protect me, when I am leaving the house. It is my Prince's rule.) We went to her place and as soon she opened the door and saw us, she wrapped her hands around my neck and laying her head on my shoulder, she sobbed heavily. We entered the living room and I comforted her while my Ivy made a chamomile tea for us. Then she told us what happened. She had a very nasty verbal fight with her best friend recently and they ended their friendship. She called her husband Ivan a few hours ago who was home at that time and told him all the secrets that Lidija told her in confidence. Ivan got mad and left the house. She knows he won’t leave her, but she feels ashamed and is afraid that he will stop trusting her. (No, she didn’t have an affair, it was some other things I am not allowed to tell you). So, I asked her if she wanted my Prince to talk to Ivan. She wasn’t sure if that was a good idea, but she let me call him and tell him to talk to him. He immediately called him after our conversation. Anyhow, my Ivy asked Lidija if she wanted her to talk to her ex-friend and teach her some manners for betrayal is unforgivable. Lidija told her not to touch her at all and if she does it behind her back, she will not talk to her ever again. My Ivy promised she wouldn’t harm her. (She and I had many heavy disagreements and verbal fights in our relationship, we didn’t talk to each other for days, but none of us ever thought of revealing each other’s secrets. Discretion and confidence were sacred to us). Sometime later, Ivan returned and after greeting us, he tightly hugged and deep kissed Lidija. We were happy to see them reconciled. When we returned home, we asked my Prince what he said to Ivan, but as always, we got the simplest answer:

- Nothing special. We talked as friends and that was it.

Damn. We really wanted to know what they talked about. He never revealed anything confidential. We believe he told him about the danger of living in his wife's past since he knows a lot about it from his parents' case. When I wanted to tell him about our conversation with her, he stopped me and said he had no need to know the details but the result of our conversation. We respect that.

As for Vladimir, his wife and son arrived at our Hotel yesterday afternoon. He and my luvs picked them up from the airport. I had the pleasure to meet her and her son in my office. She is a very attractive straight female and their son is cute. She also does not speak any other language but Ukrainian and some Russian. We treated them with refreshments and we gave him a day off to settle with his family and invited them over to our place for lunch on Saturday. They promised they’d come. Vladimir couldn’t look me in the eyes. When he talked to me, he looked at his wife or his son. I think he was afraid of his wife who addressed me with a compliment that I am a very pretty woman. I wouldn’t interfere in their relationship at all for I am not a marriage breaker but I wouldn’t reject her if she would like to have sex with me with his blessing.  As a worker, he is spotless. Our maintainer says that he is a hard, silent worker. Everything he does, he makes it work or he improves it. We were glad to hear that.
