A typical woman

> I like to talk. A lot. And when I talk, I go into very details. There was a time when my Prince listened to me patiently. Later on, I saw him being at the edge of telling me to stop talking for he can't stand it anymore. One day, when I was telling him something, he gently grabbed my hands, and with a gentle voice, he said to me: "Honey, I can't listen to it anymore. I am not a woman, so, please skip unnecessary details and tell me the core thing." His words hurt me no matter how gentle and caring he was. I told him I did not know how to talk differently and I started to cry. He was sorry he hurt me and he asked me to continue with story telling but I couldn't. When I told my Ivy about it, she told me that he was right that men in general do not care about long descriptional stories and that I am a typical woman with oversensitive issues. Interestingly enough, her words didn't hurt me as my Prince's words.

> This morning, the same thing happened again in my office when I was telling something to him and her. She said: "Honey, please skip unnecessary details. You are behaving like a typical woman who talks and talks and kept talking raping our brains." I was shocked she told me that but wasn't offended and hurt but if my Prince told me that, I would be. Don't ask me why because I had no idea. My Fran rebuked her for harsh words. She kissed me and apologized and then my luvs left the office. I asked him if she was right, that I am a typical woman when it comes to talking. He confirmed but said he was never bothered with it for he likes to talk to me (we used to talk the whole night and for hours and we were never tired of talking). But he instructed me to be more careful in my luvs' case and in the company of other men. The great majority of men do not like typical women (Under typical it means: most women like to talk when it is needed and when it is not. It is very annoying). He said he'd teach me how to talk to men as an untypical woman.

Edit: A few hours ago I found a perfect example of typical women and men from my experience. Open the spoiler, please.

I doubt it’s a typical ♀️ or ♂️ thing.

Us woriks are doing it both, though with different topics ?

It’s just getting tough on us, when I lose track, don't see the path in the story and interrupt with „and the point of this story is …?“

Spoiler

? And my mother-in-law is mostly on my side in those cases

> Maybe it is not typical in your country and other countries but it is typical in our culture. It's what I have been told from many people and from what I have been reading.

> Me stopping annoying people with unnecessary talk and learned to talk to men as an untypical woman. (Again, the issue in my country).

> My Fran always takes my side. It used to be my Ivy before she turned to be like my Prince.

? I love stories. Long and detailed. But only if I can follow.

I think, it’s more a technical annoyance for me, when I can’t follow the narrator (e.g. of diverting off-topics)

And pretty embaressing if it’s me to tell a bunch of incoherent things :classic_blush:

> Me too, my mom too, mom Zdenka too, and all other women I know except my Ivy. As for men, only Dad Boss and my Fran like to listen to my way of telling things.

> By the way, I assure you, I am much better at telling things even in English than in writing them. :classic_happy:
