The reason I was absent from LL the last few days is because of Auntie Melany (my Prince’s auntie from his father’s side) and her four children; two sons from the first marriage and two daughters from the second marriage. They arrived on Tuesday evening at the airport. My Prince was gladly surprised when she called him on Monday and asked him if he was willing to pick up her and her children at the airport on Tuesday. He rejoiced to meet his auntie and his cousins. He took our Jeep and my Ivy accompanied him. She told me that they recognized each other and when they hugged, they heavily cried for some time. (All four children are grownups but I am not allowed to tell their age). Her sons speak broken Croatian and excellent English, while her daughters do not speak Croatian but flawless Italian and English because of their American-Italian father. When they calmed down, Auntie Melany introduced her children to my luvs and my Prince introduced my Ivy as his wife to them. Anyway, since the core tourist season is over, we had empty rooms for them in our Hotel. When my luvs returned from the Hotel, the three of us decided we’d hide nothing from her.

So, we came to work yesterday and my luvs brought them to my office after breakfast. (Later on, after work, we brought them to our house to meet our parents and the children). When my Prince introduced me as his wife, I saw the shock on their faces. All of them looked at my Ivy. It was a “Didn’t you say yesterday that this blond is your wife?” But he smiled and said:

- I see you are a little confused. Let me explain: Both of them are my wives and they are married to each other too. I have a son with Eva and a daughter with Ivy …

Another shock and a “WTF” short silence…

Auntie: Well, Prince, do not resent us being shocked. We didn’t expect you to be married especially not living in polygamy … It’s not that we judge you, god forbid, my dear nephew, but you have to admit that it’s … unusual.

Prince. I understand, Auntie, Melany. I would probably be shocked too if I were you …. Anyway, later on, you will meet the rest of our family …

My Fran and our helpers let us have some privacy and they continued to work in my Prince’s office. Then he explained to them everything about his mother, her leaving his father because he was sick and all about the uncle, his sister, mom Boss and dad Boss, and similar. She was very shaken and she cried. My Prince too. Then he told her everything about his job in the Hotel, bodyguarding and helping local police as it is needed. She was very thrilled with him. Anyway, she kept her promise and explained to him why she hadn’t contacted him earlier. When she divorced her first, Muslim husband, his relatives in Croatia threatened that they would hurt or kill her close and distant family members as an act of revenge. My Prince had no idea about it, like his uncle and a father for she never told them. Being afraid for their lives, and believing she is tracked, she broke communication with them until now, when she felt it was safe to contact them. Although my Prince didn’t buy her story (he told us later), he accepted it because he was happy he had more relatives from his father’s side. He said her true motives would show up sooner or later.

Anyway, they visited us yesterday and met our parents and the children. Both sides were very thrilled and Auntie Melany couldn’t stop praising the beauty and smartness of our children. She also noticed that both children looked more like their mothers and she couldn’t stop kissing and complimenting Precious who had a “What is with this lady?” look.

During the coffee and cakes time, my dad talked to her about Uncle exchanging memories while Prince’s new cousins wanted to hear all about our love triangle. I was happy I could tell them. Then my Prince and Ivy drove them back to the Hotel. They will stay till Sunday. But, yes, before they returned to the Hotel, Auntie Melany asked us permission to take our children shopping today since she didn’t know my Prince was married and had children, otherwise she’d bring the presents to us. My Prince asked me and Silvano to join them and my mom also said she would go with them. So, I am having the day off today while my luvs will work. I am sure we would have a lot of fun.
