> Seven years ago, few people (mostly women) established the Association for improving life quality of the animals (pets). Besides of taking care of abandoned, wounded and hungry and sick animals, they fight for the animal rights. Now, I welcome what they are doing for such animals and I am, of course, against any type of animal molesting, but, hey, rapid growth and social influence turned them into fanatics. For example: let's say you have a pet and a member of that association visits you. If she sees/judge your pet doesn't have proper accommodation, food and if she judge your pet isn't loved enough, she can press charges against you for neglecting your pet and letting it to live in inadequate conditions/environment.  You may be charged to pay a high penalty or even end in jail.

Really is a middle ground to have with this. My experience in the rural area that I'm currently in... is people let their dogs out without watching them and there have been multiple times that humans are attacked and nothing happens to the owners other than the dog gets taken away. Dozens of "pet" cats and dogs roam the streets and nobody takes care of them.

I would at least like a little accountability for the owners to face because of the danger it poses to people and because of the mess they make in other peoples yards. But some larger cities here they go to far like you are saying. ? a very regional dependent kind of policy here.

> i completely agree with you. Some pet owners became their pets' servants losing the touch with reality and ignoring the simple fact: we are primarily human society that loves animals, not idolizing them and not putting them before other human beings.
