> More and more people nowadays have a problem saying "I'm sorry" when they hurt you or do wrong to you. It makes me very sad. One of many reasons for it lies in the psychological approach that teaches how every individual matters more than others and "Don't ever apologize! You degrade yourself if you do!" Baloney!!! That's what it is.
> We are teaching our children to ALWAYS apologize and to say "I'm sorry". But as they mean it. There is a kind of "magic" in those words. I learned that it teaches me compassion, valuing and respecting the person whom my words and deeds hurt, and most of all, it releases the offended person from longtime anger and resentment. It fixes broken relationships. Indeed, it makes things completely opposite and better than not apologizing. My Prince confirms it saying: "All I need is to hear "I'm sorry" and my anger just vanishes in the split of a second. Yes, he also always apologizes when he does or say something wrong, even to our children. He says, he feels better when he apologizes too. An apology shows how great you are, not how small you are, if you ask me:classic_smile:

My bro- how could he ever possibly be at fault if he's always right? Like it was written in stone or something, lol. Recognizing and admitting our mistakes is clear evidence of higher intelligence/maturity imo. Only a fool makes the same mistakes over and over again expecting a different outcome.
