New family business?

The preliminary calculations we made yesterday showed that this summer season is the most successful and most profitable season we had in the last 10 years. Dad Boss is very proud of us, the executive board. Since **“Ferragosto” is at the door, we had to hire more workers for two weeks term. (** Ferragosto is an Italian mass vacation and you can read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferragosto ). Why is it important to us? Well, since it starts on the Roman Catholic and national holiday of the Great Lady on the 15th of August in our country, tens of thousand Italians are coming to our country for vacation. So, it’s going to be madness next two weeks. LOL. Since, we, Italians speak loud and fast involving our all body in our talk for we are very emotional and dynamic, my Prince often laughs saying:

- I wonder if you breathe at all when talking. All I hear is fast Bla Bla bla bla bla. And how in the world do you hear and understand each other when everyone is talking at the same time when having a group conversation? Ha ha ha. But the truth is, I like Italian. It is a very fluent and musical language.

Fran: But more than Italian language, you like dark skin and slim Italian girls and ladies, Prince, aren’t you? Just pray that some chocolate skin beauties won’t come to our Hotel …

Prince: Arrrrghh ….. Shut up!

We blasted in laughter. When Lidija called him to ask him for some advice about certain workers, the three of us, my Ivy, my Fran, and I talked about protecting him from meeting his Krypton and how shell we save him if he does. We don’t want him to break his promise and fail for he would fall into depression and misery.

Anyway, my luvs had to go downtown yesterday to do 1 hour of bodyguarding job. Since my Prince always goes earlier because he doesn’t like to be late, they had time to have juice. They were sitting on the cafe terrace when a girl dressed in the dress like my Ivy and I had, sat near them.

Ivy: Look, honey. She has the same dress Princess and I had before we gave them to the rehab center. I wonder where she bought it since we bought it over the Internet catalog in Germany.

Prince: Yeap, I loved those dresses on you two. You looked very hot.

My Ivy kissed him and thanked him, but she squirmed sitting in her chair.

Ivy: I must ask her where did she get it. Something bothers me.

Then she approached the girl and said:

- Excuse me, ammm, I really love your dress and I know it’s not my business but would you mind telling me where did you buy it?

The girl: Of course. There is a second-hand shop in “that and that” street. I bought it there for a very good price.

My Ivy thanked her for the information and she returned to my Prince. Then they googled the name of the street and found that the second-hand shop belongs to the rehab center we donated our clothes and things. She was very pissed thinking that we were cheated since we donated our clothes to the girls in rehab, not to the second-hand shop for selling. My Ivy decided to pay the visit to that shop after the bodyguarding job.

Coming to the shop they saw most of our things exposed for sale. My Ivy was furious. She approached one of the girls that worked there and demanded to talk to the boss. One older lady approached to them and said:

- Good day, how can I help you?

Ivy: I want to know this: we donated clothes and stuff to your center two days ago hoping the girls in rehab will get them, and now I see you offered them for sale. How come? If we knew that, we’ll never give anything to you!

The lady: Ah, I guess nobody told you that we are supporting ourselves by selling good stuff, used clothes, used electric machines and furniture and everything that can be sold from donations we receive. The earned money from the shop goes for covering the rent and the bills. But I assure you that the girls went through the clothes and stuff and if they found something they like and if it is not too erotic or sexual, they are allowed to take it free of charge. The rest comes here for sale.

My Ivy told me that she felt very embarrassed. She confessed that she didn’t know that and she apologized. The lady smiled and said that everything is fine and she thanked her for the donation. Wanting to fix her bad image, she left 50 Euros as a donation to the rehab center. The lady gave her flyers and booklets about their center. My luvs returned to the Hotel afterward.

When she finished the story, my Prince smiled and said:

- So, Princess, I guess they wouldn’t take your sex toys … the lady was very specific about refusing sexual and erotic dresses and stuff …

Me (smilingly): it's them who are losing ...

Ivy: Hey, I just get an idea for a good and prosperous family business …

Me: What is it, honey?

Ivy: We may smuggle sex toys and sexy dresses to rehab centers in Croatia. After I heard that lady, I am sure now that those poor girls love to dress sexy and they need sex toys since sex is forbidden to them.

My Fran and I blasted in laughter, while Lidija and my Prince looked at each other and nodded their heads as “she is unbelievable” sign. Anyway, now we know what happened with our stuff and we’ll be glad to see girls and ladies wearing our dresses and clothes in the town.

Penso che Ivy abbia reagito correttamente anche se ha commesso un errore. In un mondo in cui le truffe sono eventi comuni e normali, è bene fare attenzione.
