We came to the work yesterday morning. My Ivy and I waited for the right moment to tell my Prince about Gabriela. He was in very good mood and he called Gabriela wanting her to join us for a coffee in his office if she isn’t busy. The line was occupied. He went to her room. It was locked and there was no response. He went to her ordination and was told that she left the Hotel yesterday. He was in shock. Returning to his office he was obviously disturbed with her disappearance. He was nervous and he tried to call her several times again, but he got no answer. Then my Ivy told him to give up for she can’t answer his calls because she probably changed her number. She also told him that she invited us in her room in Saturday to tell us that she is leaving in Sunday asking us to tell him not until Monday. We promised we will not tell. He didn’t make a problem out of it because he respects privacy and discretion. But he wanted to know why she left.

Ivy: She left because she was in love with the man she can’t have. She asked us not to tell you who he is. She has her reasons, honey.

He was stunned and he couldn’t say a word. My Ivy sat in his lap and kissed him. My Fran and Lidija knew whom she is talking about but they didn’t interfere into conversation. My Prince deeply sighed not realizing that he was the guy she felt in love with. He was very sad because she’s gone. Knowing that it is best to leave him alone when he is in such mood, we let him be alone. He took a walk. Since he has a lot of enemies and since we never know when he might be attacked, my Ivy called one of security guards to discreetly follow him and watch his back. He returned to the office after 2 hours. After few minutes, he approached to my Ivy and deep kissing her he said he loves her. He came to my office and did the same to me. Then he said to us:

- I love you two with all my being. Don’t ever break my heart.

Then he and my Ivy walked out doing their obligations. I asked my Lidija and Fran to be discrete about the whole thing. He empathized with him. Lidija hugged me and said:

- I’m truly sorry for boss ….. Eva, I admire you how you and Ivy dealt with it. I wouldn’t be so tolerant and understanding if some woman will tell me that she is in love with my husband. I will strangle her.

I told her that being hostile toward Gabriela wouldn’t change her feelings for him. She is not guilty for loving the “wrong” man. The heart is blind sometimes and it makes us the slaves of our own lusts. Gabriela isn't a slut who is after other women's husbands. The love just happened to her. Lidija asked me what we would do if he’d fall in love with her. I said that Gabriela isn't for any version of love triangles, squares and similar love shapes and forms. She won’t share him with us and he would be forced to choose. Since he is crazily in love with us and our children, he will break up with her. But he will suffer and he’ll be heartbroken for he failed us falling in love with her. My Ivy and I will still love him because we believe in love that supports and helps in trouble times. Anyway, when we came home after the work, our children simply “healed” their tata from sadness. They were all over him, hugging and kissing him, giggling and “tata this” and “tata that” that he had no time and opportunity to be sad. Seeing him loving them so much and how much they love him, I was convinced again that no woman can take him away from us. My Prince might be naive when it comes to women and he is very easy to seduce, but his love is genuine, the family is always most important to him and he would rather die than to see us divorced or separated. My mom used to say:

- How can an woman know that she is loved by her man? If he loves her (their) children.

I'm still trying to figure out the depths of this saying but I do believe their is some big degree of truth in it. And according to it, my Prince is abnormally in love with my Ivy and me. One more thing, he could find her if he wanted. Antonio has a lot of connection and he'll get her phone number and address in 10 minutes, but he realized that she didn't want to be in contact with him and us and he let her go for he is not a stalker or psycho-manic. Just as he let her in in his heart, he let her out.
