My Fran, Lidija and I were very thrilled with our new laptops. Just as we came to the work we invited our IT technician who installed all necessary programs, transferred all data from old laptops to new ones, and connected us to Hotel server and to each other. We will donate our old Hotel property laptops to the charity.

When I arrived home after the work, I firstly hugged and kissed my luvs and our children. My Ivy made me laugh when she said:

- I can’t wait to get better because Precious doesn’t close her mouth.

My Prince smiled and cuddling Precious’ head, he said:

- Don’t listen to her, Princess. I enjoy talking to her. Grandma toughed her and Mikey another 5 letters and she was teaching me them. She is very bright little blond angel. Whenever I made mistake, she corrected me: “Nooooo, daaaddy …… like this ……. Seeee?”

I was melted by his words. Yes, Precious is an unstoppable talker. He loves to listen to her because the way she was telling things imitating mimic and gesticulation of adults. And he loves to hear her often: taataaa.

When Mister “XXX” arrived, we had a small family/business gathering. We talked about Covid and its effect on our business. He admitted that the virus disrupted his business in the States, but they are still doing fine. Then he said something that shocked me and my luvs:

- Eva, …. I want you to come to the States and work for me. You’ll lack nothing, and you’ll have wage three times bigger than here ….

My luvs interrupted him sharply saying: NO! NOOOO WAAAY!

Mister “XXX”: …… I will also bring your family by the time….

Me: I’m very flattered Mister “XXX” but here is our home, our parents, and friends. I don’t want to be separated from them for a single day, especially not from my husband and wife and our children. We have happy life here and I don’t see us at any other place but here. So, thank you very much, but your business offer is unacceptable.

Mister “XXX” chuckled and said:

- I was just testing you. I wanted to see by my own eyes that the three of you still love each other and that nothing can separate you.

He hugged us and commended our love and loyalty. We continued our meeting. He said that his company will invest in villa, Antonio’s security agency in Spain and here and the Hotel if each one will pay 5% of total yearly income next 5 years. He said he wouldn’t take any money from us, but his business partners who are co-investors insisted on it. We agreed and we signed agreement. Then he said that he wants to talk to Antonio, dad Boss, my Prince and Ivy tomorrow morning. After that we had an informal part, in which we talked about various things, laughing and having fun.

Mister “XXX” gathered Antonio, dad Boss and my Prince and Ivy for a meeting after family coffee time yesterday. He said:

- Antonio, I studied monthly reports I received from Eva about Hotel business. Although she and her team doing very good job in this period of crisis, the results aren’t as they should be. Business went down since the day Prince and Ivy left the Hotel. Dad boss and I agreed that we want them back to the Hotel if they accept my offer. And, as for you, I ask you to let them go. I am also willing to pay you a money penalty for their release.

Antonio (angrily): Don’t fucking insult me! We are family for Christ’s sake. I don’t want your money. Although my business started to grow since they joined me, they may go whenever they want.

Mister “XXX”: My apologies, Antonio. Prince, listen, I would equalize the sum of money you and Ivy had in Antonio’s agency. We want you two to return to the Hotel on your previous positions until tourism completely collapse or the government shut it down. In that case you can return to work for Antonio. The three of you make wonders when work together. What do you say, my son?

Prince: It is OK with me if Ivy agrees.

Ivy: I’m going wherever my husband goes.

Mister “XXX” (very contently): So, it is settled. Prince and Ivy will return to the Hotel when he recovers.

They hugged each other and shook hands. Everyone in the family was happy to hear most excellent news. When my Ivy told me that, the whole Hotel echoed from mine, Fran’s and Lidija’s joyful screaming. We started to plan a small welcome back party.

Then he and dad Boss went to the villa. His wife took my mom and Zdenka in the shopping and to the hair stylist. My, my, they looked very pretty in new dresses and shoes with new hairdo. Our dads and my Prince showered them with compliments. When we were finally alone in our bedroom while the children were sleeping, I said to my luvs again that I am incredibly happy that we will work together again and that I will never leave them for there is no person, money, job, carrier and whatever else there is that will separate me from them. They said the same to me.
