We had terrible weather for weekend if you ask me. My luvs would tell you opposite; they enjoyed in wind, rain and wavy sea. It is simply unbelievable how much my Ivy became “Princelike”. I also tried to be like him, love the things that he loves, but except things we already have in common I couldn't enjoy in many things unlike my Ivy who truly loves everything he does.

We, only close family members spent Saturday (yesterday) in villa checking that everything is ready for summer season. Maintaining and cleaning company that Zdenka hired do excellent job. Real pros. When Mikey saw the boat, he wanted to get ride in it. My Prince told him that it isn’t safe because it is windy and the sea is very wavy but Mikey was persistent. Before taking him out, my Prince asked him: “Are you sure, son, you want to get in the boat?” Mikey confirmed. My Prince took him out and stepped into swung boat holding him tightly. Feeling strong swinging and seeing (for him) big waves, Mikey got afraid and he started to cry wanting to get out of the boat. Before they exit the boat my Prince taught him a new lesson. He said to Mikey:

- Do you see now that it is not always good to get what you want, my son?

Mikey said: ”Yes!” through cry. My Prince told him that he could slap his butt for being disobedient but he rather chose to show him how dangerous can be his persistence to get what he wants and that he hope he learned his lesson to trust his parents when they say “No”. We watched them from the window. He carried Mikey inside the villa while he held his hands wrapped around his neck and having his face pressed against his. They were so cute. Anyway, when they got inside Mikey stretched his hands toward me and I took him into my arms showering his face with kisses and wrapping him into warm blanket.

Beside that we had good time together. All of us participated in making the lunch. Our moms were in charge for soup and main meal, our dads were in charge for salad and beverages and the three of us were in charge for dessert. Of course, we also washed up the dishes. We returned home late afternoon so that we can jog and exercise and that my luvs would have their martial arts training with Silvano. Our children were very tired and they went to sleep very early. When all was done and quiet, the three of us took a shower and had excellent sex before went to sleep.

Something completely new happened today. When she woke up, Precious called her dad from her bed for the first time. She mostly called me, but never my Prince. So we were very surprised when she did it. Anyway, my Prince went to their room and picked her up. Mikey was still sleeping. He carried her into our bedroom. She was soooo cute. She had her head leaned on his shoulder and her arm wrapped around his neck while my Prince kissed her arm. Entering into the bed he wanted to give her to me thinking that it is what she wanted, but she made dissatisfied sound. So he laid down having her laying on his chest and kissing the top of her head while I kissed her hand. She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes and smiled. She enjoyed in our attention but she still didn’t want to come to me. She suddenly had strong need for her dad that she barely let him alone.

We had a family lunch at dad Boss and Zdenka’s house who didn’t want us to help in anything but they engaged my Fran and Stipe, Lidija and Ivan. Mikey thought he permanently “reserved” his place in his dad’s lap during the meal time. It didn't happen this time. On our surprise, Precious, who mostly loved to feed herself, wanted to be in my Prince’s lap and be fed by him. Oh, my, Mikey was soooo angry and sad. Although he was forbidden to do that earlier, he laid on the floor, buck jumped and shouting “NOOOOO, MY DAAAD!” My Prince hand me over Precious who started to cry and took Mikey in children’s room. (Yes, our children have their room at both grandparents). Everyone thought that my Prince took a Mikey into the children’s room to spank him, but we were wrong. He took him there to calm him and to teach him another valuable lesson. We were very glad when Mikey approached to his sister who was sitting in my lap after their conversation and he took her hand saying: “I love you, sister.” My Prince told us later what he said to him.

Prince: When he calmed I said to him that his behaving deserved spanking but I won’t do it. I started to teach him the golden rule: “What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.” I also explained to him the meaning of brotherly love to his sister. I used many examples teaching him that his sister isn't his rival and that she has full right on my attention and love as he does. He listened to me very carefully. After every lesson I kissed the top of his head and I said I love him. At the end he said to me that he loves his sister and that he wants her to be happy.

Anyhow, what happened to Precious? Her sudden need for her father is normal. It came later than usual because Mother Nature planned that in their early stage of growing old daughters are close to their fathers and sons are close to their mothers. We hope that Mikey will also be “enlightened” with this phenomena soon. At the moment my luvs are watching cartoons with our children and after that we going to bath them and put them to sleep.
