F****** Jugo effect

All these days, since I posted my last diary, we had terrible weather that influenced badly on everyone, but my Prince and our son. Everyone who was born and live on Adriatic coast knows when warm South wind blows with or without cold rain from the Sea (called *Jugo) during the winter, we will have some kind of problem; physical or mental or both. (*Croatian name for South is Jug and that's why that wind is called Jugo). If you aren't meteoropath and don't have any physical problems like headache, joints ache, muscles ache, blood pressure or heart problems, you gonna be tensed or nervous or depressed or sad or moody or have some combination of all named. This Jugo was the worse in last several decades. My Ivy and I had headaches and were very moody, mostly tensed. Everything and everyone around us was a reason to start quarrels. She and I quarreled too. (By the way, she goes through her pregnancy much, much better than I did and she doesn't have often nausea, mood switching and nervous moments. Not in the number I had). That's why great majority of Adriatic coast population hates Jugo. But, not my Prince and our son. People involved in politics, business and similar social branches learned centuries ago to make not any important decisions when Jugo blows because they know they will do bad job. Same was with us on e.b. meeting in Monday. While we were all "down" in concentration, mood and ideas, my Prince was completely opposite. But, he didn't forced anything because he knew he wouldn't get through us and he stopped the meeting before it escalates into big group verbal fight. Same moody effect was present in our home. Our morning coffee with our family passed mostly in silence, complaining about certain pain or in unfounded disagreements. Guess who suffered our mood changes the most - my Prince and Mikey. But, you know what? Although it wasn't easy for him, my Prince endured all our negative actions and reactions and he was full of love and understanding for he knew what was behind our behaving. He wasn't angry at us at all and he cleverly avoided getting into quarrel with us. When we pressed him too hard, he spent his time with Mikey or went to our beach to swim and dive. Why am I telling you this? Most of the people who doesn't live on the coast and don't know about Jugo effect return provocations or hostility to the person who attacked them. But if you live in area similar to ours, you know why somebody was hostile and unpleasant toward you without reason and cause - Fucking "Jugo effect". That's why my Prince showed a lot of understanding and patience. As for Mikey, he felt our tensions. Whenever we were near him he was cranky and tensed. He didn't want us to hold him or bath him for my Ivy and I "radiated" tension. But when his daddy was with him, he cooed loudly and played with him making various happy sounds that were too loud for us and we had to ask them to go to his room or close the door of Mikey's room if they were there.

My Prince? I still can't understand his physiognomy and metabolism. As colder it gets, he is more active, have more energy and is in great mood. My Ivy and I had to turn heating on during the day and wear nightgown during the night because it was cold. My Prince wore only short sports pants during the day and normal short pants during the night. We pressed our bodies against his to get some warmth for his body was incredibly warm. He couldn't wait to come home after the work to be half naked and went to our beach to feel the wind and cold rain on his body. Instead of being cold, his body was very warm. My Ivy and I love to curl up in his lap during the day enjoying in the warm of his body. He is a big phenomena and enigma to all of us in the family. Our Mikey is his image. When we put more clothes on him or covered him with extra blanket, he started to sweat and he cried trying to remove wool hat and the blanket. We had to switch off heating in his room. He loved when his daddy took him into his arms and walked with him on our beach while the wind blew very strongly. Unbelievable. My Prince must be some freaking alien or something because I haven't seen a man like him in my entire life. None of us did in the family.

Today is Mikey's "little birthday" as we call his monthly "birthdays". He is 6 months old. Of course, we had a birthday party. My Prince and I took the day off and he made his second favorite cake: lemon cream cheese cake with more lemons than cheese cream in Mikey's honor this morning. My Ivy and I assisted him and we enjoyed in making it together. We held the birthday party after morning coffee with our parents. He held Mikey in his arms and fed him with small chunks of the cake. Mikey went crazy about the cake. He demanded bigger parts and he made various content sounds when chewing it. If my Prince stopped to give it to him, he grabbed his hand and sounded like a sea lion cub. (If you don't know how it sounds, Google it ;) ) Anyway, he had too much of the cake and he had stomach cramps. We gave him natural tonic for stomach cramps and he had few "series" of heavy cervix emptying. LOL. It smelled so badly that we had to ventilate his room. Mikey imitated our faces and "phews" which made us laugh.

Jugo stopped blowing today and we returned to normal. My Prince received the call from his best man, Nick. He and Adriana are coming on 15th for couple of days because her father is very ill. They will visit us. We are happy we'll see them although the occasion of their coming is sad.

> Among three of us I'm the one whose mood changes often and a lot. My Prince hardened thanks to my Ivy who turned him into the man she is crazy about. But, he didn't lost his gentle and romantic side. If you only can see him how gentle and full of love he is toward us.

> You are the cornerstone of your family and you hold the whole "house" upon your shoulder. I guess it is not an easy task, but you are mature and strong enough to carry all of them. It is visible in your posts and answers. You have angelic soul, my dear friend. :)

> That's why I apologized to you about my sharp post to you in your latest story. I'm sorry. I should follow my Prince's example and be silent about the stories he doesn't like. He wouldn't comment if he wasn't under our pressure. He reacted to your blog entry the same way as I did because I made it do it indirectly.

> he belongs to the minority of the people that Jugo has no influence on him. I envy him. Thank you for the compliment. I feel sometimes I should give short overview to the readers about certain matter so they would have better understanding what is going on and why. :)

If you come up north, you will find that most of the population here is like that, it is the outsiders that suffer from the cold.  To us, they are the Aliens. ?
