I've managed to gather quite the collection of custom outfit mashups and ports, and while I have taken a sizeable amount of pictures showcasing them, I haven't really posted them anywhere. I don't want all that work to go to waste, so I figured I might as well post it here to have it available somewhere and keep a backup in case I lose my local files. Also because I want to hear people's thoughts on them too.

Anyhow, male sharks are a thing in FO4 now:

Managed to refit the female heads for use on males, and this is the result. They are pretty much identical to the female heads outside of the neck and the head dome shape, which means sexual dimorphism is non-existant on them as far as faces go, but also that I get to reuse all the female character customization setup right away; porting the current male Skyrim heads would take a ton of work and isn't guaranteed to look good. Not that this looks perfect either, but it's bearable.

Male textures are based on the default BodyTalk2 ones, which means they have full support for BT2:

They should also be compatible with EVB, as the UVs are the same across both, though there may be a more pronounced neck seam when using it instead. Same goes for vanilla bodies.

Males will have several ported vanilla hairs available; right now I'm not planning to port any mod-added hairs (unlike with females, which have access to azar's Ponytail Hairstyles), but that may change once I've seen what's out there in detail.

The addition of males is the "big" update here, but with that out of the way, I also started working on porting vanilla facewear for use with the race. Any hats and helmets that don't cover the face should be automatically compatible without the need to be refit, though this will depend on each specific item and the way they are set up.

Her squadmate there is supposed to be a male Selachii (the one in my avatar, actually), but since I haven't started working on the male version of the sharks yet and don't know when I will, Preston was kind enough to stand in for him in the shots.

(Nickname unrelated to the streaming service, I just wanted to go for something based on her constantly moving her ears around, but "Flick" didn't have as much of a ring to it).

This photoshoot wasn't actually meant to be a photoshoot, I was just trying out a custom outfit mashup I made for her in combination with a winter season mod and it looked too good to not take pics. Thus, the (inital) lack of skin fur being shown, the focus on the environment and the outfit itself more than on her, and the not-particularly-great quality of the whole posing setup. Oh, well.

And some spicy pics, because why not. As for why she's walking around in the snow wearing a bikini (or nothing at all), well... she's a desert fox, so she has the warmth inside of her. Or something. I just wanted to have some eye-candy, lol.

...aaand of course I wouldn't be satisified with the previous photoshoot if I didn't post more saucy pics as well. To... uh... showcase that the race does have all the appropiate bits available and working in FO4 as well. Or something.

Well, one thing led to another and... this happened:

(Note that the lack of facial expression is simply due to me not having learnt how to do that manually for screenshots in FO4 yet; the face is fully (albeit somewhat crappily) animated and has proper expressions and phoenemes during normal gameplay).

It's still pretty rough and there's no ETA on it yet, but sharks in FO4 are definitely a thing now, and I'll release them as soon as the mod is (barely) playable and enough testing has been done to make sure. Don't expect it anytime soon, though. Just stay tuned.

Haven't really developed her as a character (yet), so I'll just leave the pics here for now. Unfortunately the otter paws refused to work fine, so I had to replace them with human feet instead. Bummer. At least another certain part of her anatomy is more beastly, so I guess it balances everything out.

(Disclaimer: similarity of her name with that of another adorable mustelid from a certain webcomic is just a coincidence, but only because we don't have pine martens in Skyrim so I couldn't recreate him anyway even if I wanted to).

Next up is another small(ish) set with Kara. I had been working on some random outfits based on certain characters, and while I lack the assets (and skills) to replicate them in Skyrim in a remotely acceptable way, I didn't want to let all the work go to waste, so I opted for having Kara do a cosplay of them instead. Getting her to shave her mane and dye her fur is pretty much the best I can do race-wise, so might as well have a proper reason for it to be so limited, lol. 

First up is her best impression of Bailey from Housepets!, in her iconic teal bandana and not-so-iconic white hoodie.

And second set is Skye from Amorous, doing her own Renamon cosplay. Which means this is Cosplay², I guess.

Yeah, let's be honest, that's just Kara wearing (a bad knockoff of) Skye's cosplay outfit. Yellow fur dye only goes so far, what can I say.
