WALKTHROUGH

You must Hire Jenassa.  That's 500 gold.  If you complete this quest you will have that back and more.

Jenassa must be your Hireling companion through this quest.

Talk to Jenassa.  She will tell you she's after some lost papers for the East Empire Company.

Go roust a couple bandit camps near Whiterun.

First: Halted Stream Camp.

Second: White River Watch.

After that, speak to Jenassa.  She will want you to go to Windhelm and meet Ambarys at the New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm.

Speak to Ambarys, watch a little scene between Jenassa and Ambarys, then speak to Ambarys again.  Then talk to Jenassa.

Your next stop is the East Empire Company in Windhelm.  Take Jenassa and go talk to Orthus Endario.

Talking to Orthus will start up the Bethesda game quest "Rise in the East".  You need to help the East Empire Company take care of some pirates.

Start working through "Rise in the East".  Eventually, Adelaisa Vendicci will show up at the East Empire Company in Windhelm.

Talk to Adelaisa.  Next, talk to Jenassa outside the East Empire Company.

Take the East Empire Company boat to the pirate island - defeat the pirates.

Finally, when that's done with, back at Windhelm at the East Empire Company - talk to Orthus to complete Rise in the East.

Talk to Adelaisa.  Talk to Jenassa.

Talk to Jenassa a final time to end this quest.

Quest ID and Stages

STAGE 10 - I have met a beautiful Dark Elf sellsword.  I should hire her and investigate any romantic opportunities.

STAGE 20 - The sellsword Jenassa has given me a note to read.  Seems she's been contacted about a job that is too much for her.  I should read the note.

STAGE 50 - Jenassa suspects that some bandits at a camp near Whiterun may have grabbed a courier and have papers belonging to the East Empire Company.  We should check out the Halted Stream Camp together.

STAGE 60 - I found evidence that Jenassa's quarry has moved on.  I should share this information with Jenassa.

STAGE 70 - The papers Jenassa seeks have moved - a transaction between bandits, it seems.  We are going to have to give chase after the papers to White River Watch.

STAGE 80 - Finally!  The papers have been recovered for the East Empire Company.  I should tell Jenassa.

STAGE 100 - The papers for the East Empire Company now must be returned to Windhelm.  Apparently, Jenassa has experienced some tragedy in that city.  Jenassa asks that we seek out Ambarys Rendar at the New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm, first.

STAGE 130 - I have learned a great deal about Jenassa from the Dark Elf Ambarys in Windhelm.  Probably most concerning is she has a bounty on her head.  Time to meet with Orthus Endario at the East Empire Company in Windhelm and return the papers we found.

STAGE 140 - Seems the East Empire Company in Windhelm has a bit of a pirate problem.  Jenassa and I will need to uncover this nest of brigands so we gain the favor of the East Empire Company. They may help in clearing Jenassa's name.

STAGE 160 - I have met Adelaisa Vendicci - a superior at the East Empire Company.  She has requested that Jenassa and I solve the pirate problem once and for all.  I will need to defeat the pirates to continue.

STAGE 170 - Now that the pirates are defeated, it is time to solve Jenassa's problems - of which there are a few.  Adelaisa Vendicci can help.  I should speak with Jenassa about this.

STAGE 180 - Adelaisa, Jenassa and I have shared company together.  Now we are all lovers.

STAGE 190 - The East Empire company has agreed to put forward the gold and resources to clear Jenassa's name.  And, Jenassa has found some peace with her troubled past.  All is well that ends well.

STAGE 200 - Shut down Quest, Mark Completed
