===================================== Amorous Adventures: Love And Death In Riften ===================================== This quest is a little touchy, but seems to work well for most people. Save your game before the assault on Aerin at the end. PROBLEM: A character the quest needs is dead - Google resurrecting a character in Skyrim using the console ----- PROBLEM: Quest will not start To even start this quest all the following must be true: - Mjoll must be alive - Aerin must be alive and doing his default Game stuff. If you've done something interesting with Aerin (killed him, chained him to a post, banished him to a dungeon) this quest will not work. - Illia must be alive - Maul must be alive - Sapphire must be alive - Ingun Black-Briar must be alive - The quest Repentance is best not to have been completed - The quest Grimsever's Return must not have been complete - The quest Few and Far Between must not have been completed Pretty much all of this will be true the first time you stroll through the front gate of Riften. You can force the quest to start with the console command: SetStage SexLabAmorousAdventuresAerin 10 ------ PROBLEM: Mjoll is pissed that Aerin died She will cool off after a few days. However I have never seen this issue in my own game. The timing should be that she comes into the house after Aerin is already dead and never see him die. I would try reloading a save from before going in the house and running it again. The timing may improve. ------ PROBLEM: Lovers become invisible during sex. Another one I've never seen myself. The issue is going to be in SexLab itself since that runs all those animations. Try hitting the "3" key to run Free Cam and moving the camera around. ===================================== NPCs needed: ===================================== Mjoll the Lioness(Lover) - Reference ID: 00019DF7 Ingun Black-Briar(Lover) - Reference ID: 00019DD4 Sapphire(Lover) - Reference ID: 000C19A5 Illia(Lover) - Reference ID: 0004B22E Maul - Reference ID: 0003BE26 Aerin - Reference ID: 00019DF8 ===================================== WALKTHROUGH ===================================== This is kind of a complicated quest with a lot of moving parts. It is designed to run (like All Amorous Adventures quests) at the point where you first meet the characters. In this instance, when you enter Riften for the first time. Also, it has a lot of conversations. Hey, it can't be all monster slaying. On the bright side... it's all fully voiced [:)] Note: Aerin will die as a result of doing this quest. I have a very hands-off policy with the game's characters but with Aerin I had to make an exception. He's always there, creeping around after Mjoll. Marry her and he moves in. He's always there, staring - hovering over her while she sleeps. Dude freaks me out. He's a stalker. I had to kill him. I apologize to anyone who is upset by Aerin's untimely demise. Note: Completing this quest seems to have a couple side affects. One, you'll probably end up being able to hang out a Mjoll's place when you're in Riften and you're probably going to end up with a key from Aerin. Two, Making love to Mjoll is going to increase her disposition and you probably are going to be able to enlist her as a follower before retrieving her sword "Grimsever" for her. Note: Sapphire has a known bug in the base game where she will continue to say "I have no business with you." Walk through the front gate and you'll see Aerin and Mjoll having a conversion about the Thieves Guild. When they conclude, chat up Mjoll and talk about her great beauty. A scene starts where Aerin seems to punish Mjoll somehow. Aerin will then tell the player Mjoll is off limits and drops Sapphire's name. Next, talk to Sapphire. You will need to wait until she's done with her conversation with Shadr Next, talk to Maul. He's probably out on the docks. Returning from the docks, Mjoll will run up and talk to you Next, talk to Aerin (actually he'll probably find and talk to you). Next, talk to Ingun Black-Briar. The next step takes you out of Riften to Darklight Tower where you will meet Illia. Illia has her own quest Repentance. She's a little difficult to talk to since she's in a big hurry to go kill her mom. And you are going to have to help her do that. Once you've gotten through all her blocking dialogue about her immediate issues, you can talk to her about what's going on in Riften. Talk to Illia again after you defeat the Boss (yeah, her mom) With new insight into what's going on in Riften, head back to town. You'll find Mjoll, Sapphire and Ingun Black-Briar waiting for you near the Bee and Barb. Talk to Mjoll. Head into Aerin's house and be ready for a fight. Aerin has new friends, and they don't like you. Mjoll, Sapphire and Ingun Black-Briar will head into the house in turn. Talk to Mjoll Talk to Sapphire Talk to Ingun Quest completes. ===================================== Quest ID and Stages ===================================== Quest ID: SexLabAmorousAdventuresAerin STAGE 10 - I've met Mjoll the Lioness in Riften. She is a beautiful and fierce Nord warrior. I wonder if I can make her my own. STAGE 20 - Attempting to chat up Mjoll, some strange affect occurred - like she was in pain. I was then quickly accosted by her companion Aerin. Aerin dropped the name of a woman - "Sapphire". Perhaps she knows more about these two. STAGE 30 - I attempted to ask Sapphire about Aerin. Sapphire had the same symptoms as Mjoll - she cried out in pain. Besides mentioning Dark Sorcery, she would not talk. I'm going to need someone who knows the dirt in this town if I want to know more. That someone might be Maul. STAGE 34 - Maul said something about Aerin and a Love Potion. That might be what is causing local women to cry out in pain. Mjoll would know - I've got to get her to talk. STAGE 40 - Now I know a great deal about what Aerin is up to. He is using a strong Love Potion that the Hagravens had a hand in crafting on the women of Riften. Time to confront him about it. STAGE 50 - Mjoll said an alchemist in town - Ingun Black-Briar - might be able to help cure this Love Potion affecting women in Riften. Also, Maul said the Black-Briar family had gotten Aerin this potion in the first place. I should go have a chat with Ingun Black-Briar. STAGE 60 - If I'm going to find a solution to this "Love Potion" plaguing the women of Riften, I'm going to have to get it from the source - the Hagravens of Darklight Tower. STAGE 65 - I've met a woman named Illia at Darklight Tower who may be able to help me with an antidote to Aerin's "Love Potion". But first I must help her slay the Hagravens. Then she will tell me of a cure. STAGE 70 - Illia has told me that Aerin is using a potion - a creation of the Hags - called "Suffer For You" on Riften's women. It is something of a Love Potion that causes great pain to the affected when they are disobedient to their "lover". The women are now unwittingly bound to Aerin. To reverse this I must first kill Aerin, then make love to the affected women. STAGE 80 - I must Cure Mjoll of the Love Potion "Suffer For You". STAGE 90 - I must Cure Sapphire of the Love Potion "Suffer For You". STAGE 100 - I must Cure Ingun Black-Briar of the Love Potion "Suffer For You"
