Okay.
1. No need to install physics with mod managers. Just copy to a folder (Data\SKSE\Plugins) and REMEMBER Where did you copy it!
You need to copy at least 2 files (hdtSSEFramework.dll and hdtSSEPhysics.dll ) hdtSSEHighHeels.dll is not necessary if you do not use shoes or clothes for which it is required. (ver 1.5.73 from 16.04.2019)
2. Install the SKSE of the version that is necessary for your version of the game. (for last ver it is 2.0.15)
3. Install the latest version of Skeleton (XP32MSSE 4.51)  with selection "HDT Soft Mesh Physics" and "CBP Physics" (no BBP and TBBP!!)  during installation.
4. And now the worst. Choose for yourself the option of body REPLACER that you need. Physics with Vanilla body does not work! (Well, if you do not force specifically). CBBE UNP(P) COS and so one choose any, BUT for each body your need each settings and you will need to find and install them. Or try this: Base XML set for SMP.7z  (put this files from arc to Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs)

Look like that's it.

Gromilla, what is the BEST body and why doesn't everyone use it? On second thought, now that I've seen that pregnant body type, I'm glad everyone uses different body replacers.

I know that's a tongue-in-cheek question (coming from you) :classic_biggrin:, but many who read this thread may not know that, and I've read the same basic question in several different places, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and answer it seriously:

What is the BEST smartphone and why doesn't everybody use it?

What is the BEST SSD and why doesn't everybody use it?

What is the BEST monitor and why doesn't everybody use it?

What is the BEST airline and why doesn't everybody fly it?

What is the BEST car and why doesn't everybody use it?

What is the BEST news site and why doesn't everybody read it?

Etc. etc. etc.

The two "mainstream" bodies in SSE are UUNP and CBBE.

Many of us prefer the UUNP body for a variety of reasons, not all of which are directly related to the body.

Many others prefer the CBBE body for a variety of reasons, not all of which are directly related to the body.

As Gromilla said, there are also several other bodies- the COS body, TBD body, UNP-UNPB body and more. One of the "hidden" features you need to watch out for is the number of body-parts (breasts, nipples, hips, belly, butt, arms, back, thighs, etc.) and body-shape (UNPB, UNPBB, 7Base Bombshell, Dream Girl, UNP Pushup, UNPCM, etc.) sliders available for whichever body you are considering- UUNP and CBBE have plenty of body-parts and body-shape sliders, but some of the other bodies, not so much, which makes it more difficult to get those bodies looking exactly as you want them to look.

We return you now to our regularly scheduled farce. :classic_tongue:

I've tried putting the (most recent 1.5.73) version of framework and physics dll right into the data folder,

And therein lies your problem. The hdtSSEFramework.dll and hdtSSEPhysics.dll files go in Data\SKSE\Plugins. If they aren't in that spot, you won't have physics.

So that is where I have them (that was the file structure in the 7z file so that's how I maintained it). The game seems to be acknowledging at least the framework file as there is changes to the .log file:

Regardless, I have corrected the issue; I think the problem was my lack of the XML files that Gromilla posted. I get an error in the logs:

[Sat Apr 20 21:18:06 2019]WARNING: SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\UNPB.xml(502,1):UNP is not a BSTriShape or doesn't exist, skipped

but things jiggle as they should and that's what matters.

Kudos to all. ❤️

Yo should check the nif file of the female body, Breast_Collision is a special collisionshape (only for the breasts, as the name says), there are perhaps others- for the arm and buttcollision.

If you don't have them in your nif file your should put these entries in comment in the XML file: <!-- texthere -->

I'm using CosioHD-bodies ever since i changed from oldrim to SSE.

Please keep in mind that cosio is not "oficially" build for SSE, you have to port the meshes manually and delete all the old HDT-entries.

I use CBPC for body collisions and jiggle but i can confirm that at least the jiggle will work with Cosio4.4 if you have done it right.

Please check if you have HDT-SMP and NOT HDT-Entries in your nif file and linked to the right XML file.

it should look similar to this:

I only surmised that you had mistakenly dropped the physics dll's directly into your data folder because that is precisely what you said you did in your post.

Also, you can, and should, correct the errors revealed by your log so that you will get the right collisions-

  • If you are using a UUNP body, no matter what shape you have it set for, you should change the body file name from "UNPB.xml" to UUNP.xml" and then change the internal entries from "UNP" to "UUNP" ... because that is the name of the UUNP body's main BSTriShape.
  • If you are using some other kind of body, open the mesh ( Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalebody_1.nif) with NifSkope and find out what the actual name of your body's BSTriShape is and then change the name of your "UNPB.xml" file to the actual name of your main body's BSTriShape and likewise change all "UNP" entries inside the file to whatever your body's BSTriShape name is.

Just as info, a NiStringExtraData pointing to DefaultBBPs.xml is not required in any body mesh- the HDT-SMP system will automatically, by default, use Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\DefaultBBPs.xml with no NiStringExtraData at all in the body meshes.

Of course, you do need a NiStringExtraData xml-pointer in cloth-physics items meshes (SMP wigs, earrings, clothes, skirts, capes, etc.) as shown in your example above.

For the peoples not having collisions with smp using ks hair wigs, I solved the problem while using cbbe downloading the CBBE smp files from nexus, the problem begin becuse I think that was not necessary download the file because I was using cbpc on time so basically the body had not references.

If someone could put some light on me, I wanted to create the effect of gravity on boobs like the bodyslide slider.

I tried to

> Create body with boobs on good height.

> edit the xml values of mass and inertia(100x for both) sounded good on paper.

> the boob get flat, they don't get closer the torso but get flat.

Someone know a way to deal with it?

Thanks for all and sorry for any spelling error

I am desperately attempting to figure out why I can't seem to get "Naked Giants" with smp physics... This makes no sense considering that everyone that has attempted to help me make it work has simply created an xml referencing the shape and voila! their naked giantess has SMP physics... I am using MO2 and have all of my giants using the same skeleton that came with naked giants... I also have the shape added manually to "defaultBBPs.xml"

This is the mesh I am trying to get to work with the physics as well as my log, defaultBBPs.xml and main shape .xml

I honestly don't understand why this doesn't work for me... I have Cloaks and CBBE body using SMP physics just fine... please help me get this working... based on what I have read... all I should need is the correct shape outlined in the mesh .nif file. I need this to be defined in my main body .xml file which I have done. I placed the main body .xml in "Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs" where the defaultBBPs.xml resides. The skeleton has all of the necessary nodes to be used for physics... I'm at a loss as to why I still don't see any jiggles on the giantess model...

I know how you feel, i have exactly the same problem.

In Oldrim everything works fine, even with the collision of the giantess labia.

Since i moved to SE, there is now jiggle not to mention collision on the giantess.

Hair and even tail collision on human Females work fine and i have no errors in the logs.

Even with shaidiens files from this topic:

it won't work

I don't use CPBC but just for academic sake, what's the problem with using CPBC bodies and SMP hairs? Shouldn't they not interact?

I wasn't aware there was a problem. I use both, having followed these instructions (which I modified slightly to make it clearer to me should I need to start over at some point).

CBPC + CBBE + HDT-SMP

1. hdtSSEFramework
2. hdtSSEPhysics
3. CBPC
4  Immersive CBP Config (or Sinful, whatever)
5. CBBE Body *
6. CBBE SMP Config (allow to overwrite hdtSSEPhysics)
(7. SSE Engine Fixes should be installed.)

8. Edit defaultBBPs (Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs)
        <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
        <default-bbps>
        </default-bbps>

9. In the SKSE\Plugins folder, right-click and add a new text file.
        Name it: hdtPhysics_preload.txt
Add a second new text file.
        Name it: hdtSSEFramework_preload.txt

10. CBPC handles body physics, HDT-SMP cloth physics.

* FAQ at CBPC says:

CBBE SE Physics Body -> Breast & Butt nodes
CBBE SE Special Body -> Breast, Butt & Vagina nodes

My girl's body physics work fine (after a reload, that is), and SMP handles wigs, jewelry, and clothing/armor physics.

Oh my sweet Siberian Popsicle, this is not true! I need it, there are at least 3 people in this very thread asking about it, "my" YunDao thread has repeated questions about it almost daily and @cminnow is talking about converting the ones he needs for his own use! So the list of ppl who need it is long and varied!

Please don't feel under-appreciated! We both knew it was going to be a tough one to fix (although I think it has surpassed even our worst estimates) and I appreciate you taking it on more than I can express. Thank you.

*********************************************************************

It is true :) I cannot wait for more of that glorious hair, also many thanks for the status update...

and also THANK YOU that you are working on it still.

What is this all about? I am running CBPC+SMP, and previously ran just SMP for all physics including body, and I never heard of this and question the necessity of it.

My understanding is, (from something I read on Nexus) that the two files ensure that the two hdtSMP .dlls are loaded before CBPC, the same way that the similar SSE Engine fix txt file ensures that .dll is loaded prior to other .dll.

I believe, in theory, it removes the requirement to rename the CBPC .dll to xCBP.

I could be wrong, but I have never renamed the file and I have had, to date, no issues.

Yes. The original instructions said to rename CBP.dll to xCBP.dll to ensure it loaded after the HDT-SMP files. Some reported CTDs doing it that way. The alternate solution was to preload HDT-SMP, which is how my setup is done. Both sets of physics work fine for me (I run 1.5.62, as one mod I use has yet to be updated to 1.5.73, though I have the files for that version of HDT-SMP waiting).

If people do not rename and do not use preloads, and it all still works, bonus? I went the more cautious route.

Thanks- I hadn't heard of this until now. If I ever have any trouble from renaming CBP.dll. I'll try it.

Had a question for UUNP users. How do I get HDT SMP to work with a UUNP body?

You need to have one of the few UUNP body .xmls floating around, and you need to have the defaultBBP .xml pointing to it.  There are a couple of .xml sets people have posted as attachments further back up this thread that include UUNP .xmls (one from CMINNOW and one from Gromilla, who also just recently posted the latest update to the latest version of the physics .dll).  (Note that the assignment of the body shape in defaultBBP.xml has to say "UUNP" - that's what's missing in the defaultBBP.xml in the package that comes from China - but the .xml it's pointing to could be called anything.  In fact you can play around with the CBBE and other physics body .xmls. Some of them work just fine, some of them have weird artifacts!  It's just that the specific named UUNP .xmls have obviously had some thought put into them as being more suitable for the UUNP body.)

So just to be clear: you get the latest versions of the 3 famous mods from the Chinese site, the Physics, the Framework, and the High Heels.  (Someone keeps track of them on Reddit, with links.)  Then you replace the set of .xmls that come by default with the physics package with one of the .xml sets mentioned above (the ones that have UUNP .xmls, with their defaultBBPs pointing to them).  Then just to be spankingly up to date, overwrite or MO2 the physics.dll from the latest (now several weeks old) Chinese set with the one Gromilla posted just the other day.
