Is this mod still being developed?

I'm thinking of some ideas, however my modding abilities are quite limited so not sure how easy/hard would be to implement:

Random approaches inside INNs:

Sounds like a cool scenario that would fit well with the mod.  I think I would suggest a few changes to make it a bit less likely to cause issues:

I wouldn't restrict the action with morality, as every male npc in an inn acts sexist, and some inns may not have low morality npcs.  Also, I'd replace the brawls with either a bounty (as the guards are especially sexist) or a second easier intimidate check that triggers a aggressive animation if failed.

Mostly I feel brawls should be avoided as often as possible, especially since if they are unexpected and turn into real fights an npc could easily die if you have a follower or two.  Some people really hate having characters die outside of their control (self included).

The author defiantly still had some stuff in the works like bringing back the guard strip search.  Doesn't mean they aren't tired of modding Skyrim and have other interests or games, but this mod has gone a long time between updates before.  Luckily I find it irreplaceable as is.

The reason I suggested a brawl is because inside the context of the scene, it would make sense that the dragonborn defends against such attacks in someway.  I mean, if the (female) dragonborn is supposed to be a tough adventurer she just won't take the man's insults and/or assault attempts without putting a fight.

Now, mod-wise I know a brawl may lead to unwanted scenarios many times, including escalating into a real fight and sometimes killing NPCs that could be quest givers, so another option could be to implement a "Resist" mechanism a la "Defeat", (with a struggle bar) to try and avoid the assault.

Now, I'm not sure how difficult that would be. I assume a knowledgeable modder can take a look at Defeat source code and emulate the function, but that is far my current capabilities.

What I have done so far is take the mod "Sexlab approach" as a base, changed the dialogues to make more sense in the "sexist" context of this mod and trigger the scenarios I mentioned above. I have tried to implement the brawl too, but so far the scripts I'm trying to write in the topics script fragments fail to compile always.

Is there a way to get only 4th wall breaking comments? I tried un-selecting "Player Dialogue" while keeping "Player Dialogue 4th Wall" selected, however that seemed to stop all player comments; even when using the speak key, changing locations, or waiting out the timer.

Unfortunately I think you can only have 4th Wall with player comments switched on. I can't remember my exact reasoning behind this but it was probably so I could keep the comments in manageable sections within a single quest.

I do think the mod author should add some priority system to the player comments. If my character is restrained and naked, she shouldn't be wondering about what snack to take on the next adventure.

That was actually on my to-do list. Currently all dialogue has the same weighting, but I never got round to making some text be more urgent than others.

On 22/04/2018 at 12:33 AM, tedii said:

I'm not sure if you are still working on this and not sure if this idea has already been pitched to you but ...

I think you should add comments/conversations between npcs that are sexist (that don't involve the player character) but occur when the player is near and within earshot. The comments/conversations could be about the player or just general sexist stuff. For example:

NPC A: I heard that she [as in the dragonborn] became a thane

NPC B: How do you think she managed that so quickly?

NPC A: I heard she just lay there and spread her legs for the jarl

Something short but sort of "bitching" about or males discrediting the player's achievements etc

Not sure if this would be hard to do but I think it'd be more immersive in creating a sexist environment around the player rather than just having people speak sexist-ly towards the player.

I never worked out how to setup dialogue like this between NPCs, although to be fair I never really looked into it that much, but it would certainly be a nice addition.

It'd be good if the comments etc could evolve as the player progresses in game.

It's a great idea, but it requires a lot of work. There are already some comments such as if you join the companions etc

I'm thinking of some ideas, however my modding abilities are quite limited so not sure how easy/hard would be to implement:

Random approaches inside INNs:

If Player is inside an Inn, check for NPC males with relationship neutral or lower and morality low

Trigger a random approach (like Working girl MOD, or a courier event) from NPC.

NPC asks Player "Hey wench, how much for letting me use that sweet body of yours?"

      Player dialogue options open:

a  (Persuade) - Sorry, I'm not for sale.. please stop bothering me

IF Persuade success, NPC replies: "Bah, I wasn't really in the mood anyway"

                                       END event

                                   else

NPC Replies: "Woman, you dare to say NO to a man?"

                                         Trigger a Brawl

b  - What do you have in mind?

<List of several option that trigger a sexlab scene>

                      c (Intimidate) - I won't repeat this.. hands off!!

IF Intimidation success, NPC replies: "Ok", Ok!, no need to get angry. Is not worth the trouble

                                          END event

                                     else

NPC Replies: "I won't take that from a Woman!"

                                         Trigger a Brawl

IF player wins the brawl, the event ends, and PC can be left alone for a certain period of time

If NPC wins the brawl, a sexlab aggressive animation is triggered.

Now, I know a brawl is buggy and can turn into a real fight, but in this case that would be immersive as the males in the Inn could gang against the dragonbron for being a Woman trying to "fight" and in that case a mod like Defeat can take care of things. Also, if a bounty is added to PC, then a mod like Prison overhaul can fit in too.

I'm trying to find time to get back into Skyrim modding....maybe I should set up patreon!

Actually...I've a Patreon account already...time to use it I think  If you wish to support me then you can here...

If you do get back into modding.

Another idea would be to have comments have certain "tags". Then in the MCM the player can select which type of comment etc is selected by the mod based on the "tags". It would be much more immersive because then you could have race/age specific comments.

At the moment, I have a milf Nord character and it would be nice for some milf related comments without having them appear for other characters. The current system of probability of certain types of comments "timid" etc could also be done in this way as well.

Certainly this would require alot of work I'm sure but would be awesome to have.

Nice work on this anyway.

I had the error of not beeing able to have any character comments anymore, after some testing i found out that the Mod "Religion - Prayer Meditation Worship" made your character unable of saying something.
The mod allows praying, after you did that, your character can no longer say anything, either through the hotkey or randomly.
At least for me this mod was the problem. If anyone else had this error i hope this helps you and Fixes it.
I honestly don't know why they both would interact in that way, but maybe someone else here can let me know, or maybe tell me that it is only my skyrim beeing weird.

Greetings, Estorio

Edit: So, it seems I did it. But now the guard are silent and the text is shown for a split second. I try to talk to them, then they just move their hands but not text, neither custom nor default, is shown.

More info:
I can talk to other people just as usual.
I don't have the prayer mod.

There is not new MCM menu in which choose the awesome options. ?

Unfortunately you can't "tag" dialogue as such. Instead you would have to have a number of variables and then use those as flags for the type of dialogue. This is possible to do but you end up with very complex and/or statements for each line of dialogue and one thing the creation kit is not very good at is handling large numbers of and/or statements. It's find if everything is AND but through in an OR or two and you end up with a mess.

It also becomes super difficult to keep track of all dialogue which is why I went for the trait route which allowed me to group comments into nice and neat blocks inside the creation kits scene interface.

Not saying it is impossible to do...just very very time consuming.

I'm not sure there is the Fuz counter part for Skyrim SE which is why the dialogue only flashes up on the screen briefly.

Hello! Is it possible to release a version without reference to sexab? I do not need dd devices, rape, just dialogs.  I always have to include the sexlab esm that I do not need. Yes, and watch as my female characters someone tries to rape is not at all like ...

Thank you for the work done and this mod! And sorry for my bad English)

Could you please upload an "official SSE port"?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong in CK, or there is something in my PC that doesn't work as it should while porting...

Please?

You need to install fuz roh d'oh for SEE

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15109

I have also ported the mod like you did and works normally, but if you don't have fuz roh doh, the dialogues appear only during a split second for unvoiced dialogue  (not only this mod, but all mods with unvoiced dialogue)

I already have it.

Some other (sexual) mods I have needed it too. SexLab Solutions, for example.  ?

EDIT: So, after updating Fuz Ro d'oh the text are shown as they should, ?  but still not MCM option. An it seemed really interesting with the 4th wall breaking and all. ?

Nearly there then :) I'm guessing there must be something different with the way SkyUI works or something. I will have a go at making an official SkyrimSE version shortly.

And just a quick thank you to my 2 new Patreon patrons....your contribution will help me make these mods even better :)

I'd certainly like to throw a tip your way via patreon and intend to tonight, a few of your mods have been permanent parts of my load order for a very long time and I'd love to help you be able to work on Sexist Guards again in some small way.

Small suggestion tho - possibly editing your signature for readability and adding a small blurb + link to your mod download pages would help with visibility.  On my laptop at least your patreon link line is practically illegible, so I'd never know you had one without actively tracking this thread. :classic_undecided:

Hi there!

Once upon a time, there was a feature where you would get a spanking if you knock something over. If I remember correctly you adjusted it so it wouldn't happen as often. But now it never happens at all.

Personally, I'd rather it happened a lot as opposed to never. May we please get like an MCM setting? Or at least a re-tweek back the other way a bit. :)

Not really. A correctly converted version works just fine. I'm running on SE and all dialogues and MCM work normally.

I wanted to see if you had noticed this new updated version of Horrible Harassment. It has a stripping function that "could" be used to make putting strip searches back a lot easier.

Particularly the Mod author has posted a method for external mods to activate it.

____________________________________________________________________________________

For Modders Note

you can activate the harrasment trigger immediately by using this function.

Function SLHHActivate(Actor pTarget, Actor pTargetFriend = None); Basically you don't need pTargetFriend. pTarget will become a criminal, who will try to rape you.
    Keyword SLHHScriptEventKeyword = Game.GetFormFromFile(0x0000C510, "SexLabHorribleHarassment.esp") as Keyword
    SLHHScriptEventKeyword.SendStoryEvent(None, pTarget, pTargetFriend)
endFunction

_____________________________________________________________________________________

I have been using for some time now and it is a pretty cool mod, but could seriously use more triggers. :)

Anyway just thought I'd bring it to your attention for review.

Hi JJJ!

ever since...

2.90

- Reduced knock over and other unhelpful comment events so they will take 24hrs to reset.

- Added checks for belt and plugs plus some related dialogue

... i dont get no knock over event anymore ?

maybe 24hours to reset is a bit much? Or maybe any knock over comment will reset it to 24h?

My PC needs her spanking after rampaging drunken through taverns ?

Not sure if it already has been said here, but SSE really doesn't like .bsa files. All I had to do to make this work for me, is extract the .bsa and now the mod works like a charm, mcm and all.

Zip included, if you're to lazy to do it yourself. ;)

SexistGuards v2.91 SSE.zip

That's good to know :D

I'll double check the settings on the knock over comments...I pretty sure only the ones that cause an event will need a 24hr reset, but I'll check.

Great! and even if it seems like it is working as intended, you should know, intended isn't often enough (imho). :)

Thank you for this mod!  I've been using it a little while and it's adding a lot to my game.  It's so much more than just guard comments!  I love it.  Please keep up the good work on this.  I have a few comments and suggestions.  Hopefully a few might interest you.

For the 4th wall comments, if it's possible to set an alias of the player's choosing (through SKSE, or a global, INI file, or whatever) and use that as a text replacement in the dialogue, it would be pretty sweet if your follower addressed you by name:  "Well JimmyJimJim, I wonder what you're gonna have me do today?"  This could default to "sir" or "miss" if not set.

"Min / Max Times in Seconds" in MCM default to 1 / 3 seconds (initial values if you do nothing).  Clicking the slider and selecting "default" does set them to the 600 / 1200 defaults described in the help text.

The Guard Quest toggle has no MCM help text.

I LOVE the "timid" comments.  These really add a lot and fit my current character very well.

Depending on the effort, a relationship check for bump and knock events might be good.  The first time I bumped into my lover (relationship rank 4) and was told "Out of my way, whore!", my reaction was "Day-um!  Who got up on the wrong side this morning?"

The "Nympho" category seems misnamed and at odds with the help text.  "Victim" might be better, since these only seem to trigger during rapes, not consensual sex.  The help text says it's for a character who "will find pleasure during a rape" and "see the sexy side".  Except for involuntary orgasm, I've only seen "Stop, let me go" comments, things an unwilling victim would say.  I'm not complaining at all.  This fits the characters I play, who might be a "nympho" with anyone who asks nicely, but don't like the rough stuff and definitely not rape.  If you plan to add "likes rape" remarks at some point, maybe that would fit better under Masochist?  Also, you might want a new category for consensual sex comments if you feel like expanding in that direction, since a gal might be a "nympho" but hate being roughed up or raped.  Anyway, except for the label I like how these "Nympho" comments work right now.

Shouting "Fuck you" at your rapist is oddly inappropriate since, well, that's exactly what you're doing.  Some rape comments call on the Divines, which fits the lore, but "Oh God!" feels too contemporary.  The people of Skyrim rarely refer to one of the Divines as "God" (a god, yes, but not God).  Maybe replace those with "Oh gods!", "Oh no!", "It hurts!", "Someone save me!", etc.

As you already acknowledged on the mod page, whore, slut, and bitch are way overused.  Every single knock-over remark uses one of those 3 words, and it's more like abuse than sexism.  Something more creative would be fun:

Watch it!  If you want to browse the wares, get a man to help you.  [shops and stores]

Hey!  Who let a woman in here without a male escort?

Running around without a man to watch after you?  Silly girl, what were you thinking???

You know you'll keep doing stupid things like this until you have a man to watch over you.

Knock something over with those breasts again and I'll find another use for them.

The boys who play around here are less clumsy, and they're 5!  I guess men are just better at handling things.

Daydreaming about your boyfriend too much to watch where you're going?

Got the jitters there hon?  Not enough sex?  Maybe you need a man to fill you.

Hands shaking?  Need sex that bad?  Go play with yourself somewhere and come back when you can focus!

Well I guess it's not really your fault, you just lack a man's common sense.
