  1. Where to find the G1T / Texture files for Dead or Alive 6? I can only find the meshes / models, please help.
  2. Hello Everyone, if anyone is interested in my mod and supporting the many hours I had to troubleshoot this, I'd really appreciate it, anyway have a nice day.
  3. I agree with you. Making mods is time-consuming. There is a difference between a quick mod and a mod that took several days / weeks.
  4. There is nothing wrong with paid mods. Making mods is time-consuming. If he wants to charge for his mods, he should. He is not forcing anyone to purchase his mods.
  5. I been adding textures to the model in Blender, I just love Madoka's hair and face so much *___*) ♥
  6. I actually wish Fatal Frame was using Unreal Engine, much easier to mod, you can use as high poly as you want and there is no limitation. I only have Fatal Frame 5 on PS4, but I was testing this mod done by a modder on this forum. I notice Fatal Frame 5, has the same issue as Fatal Frame 4, that the body is split into parts/pieces. It is because the game cannot handle high polygon count. And from my testing in Fatal Frame 4, I cannot delete submeshes, as it seems like each submesh is design to contain specific weight to the body. -_-
  7. I got these errors too, but then i fixed it by reading carefully the tutorial. I can't remember exactly what fixed it for me.
  8. thanks for clearing this up. Do you happen to know what the purpose of: .rigbin and .swg? Does any of these 2 file formats contain like a list of submeshes? Like if we want to create custom submeshes, when we extract .gmpk and then extact the g1m and modify the submeshes in Blender? Like I been trying to merge the whole mesh body and add them into 1 submesh (while they're seperated into different submeshes by defualt) I want to know if there is a way to do this, to create a custom body and not use the in-game body mesh.
  9. I still suggest to purchase the game, it is quite enjoyable, the only things I dislike about the game is reading notes, and there are 2 very difficult puzzles in the game, the rest is good. You're right that modding any game is not easy, but once you've started doing it for 1 game, then you will develope basic knowledge of what needs to be done, that you can transfer into other games, but each game requires different tools, if the games are using different videogame engine. Fatal Frame 4 is the hardest game to mod, because if you want to mod a new body into the game, it is a harder task to complete, as this game has the body parts seperated into many pieces/parts, while in other videogames this is not a thing. The game is still new and I am also new to mod this game, maybe there is a file that can be edited and allow us to create custom submeshes, to add as many polygons we want to our mod, while the mod is not destroyed with flying polygon pieces into the air, if you look at my other post in this thread. Anyway this is a long topic and something that requires a lot of testing.
  10. Can you explain how you swap models / characters? This is my first time learning how to mod Fatal Frame
  11. Modding Fatal Frame 4, is the most picky game design I have ever modded. I have modded Resident Evil 2, 3 and 8. Final Fantasy 7 Remake. These games are not as picky to mod, while Fatal Frame 4, is picky, because you are not allowed to use high polygon mesh (game will crash), and it seems like each model is having their own submeshes/armature/skeleton that needs to follow strictly to each human and ghost character. This game is not a joy to mod, because of how picky it is to modify. I did have success adding a costume that is not from the game itself, I had to retopologize it to make the game accept it.
