  1. Because first I thought it's merely the presence of the mod that causes this, I haven't mentioned that my male character also had the Bimbo trait, because that way he asks for sex more often, and on several occasions this way I discovered new items to interact with ("hey, they can do it on that too!"). Creative guy. Anyway, I edited the traits so singing goes up 1% in about 4 in-game hours (if I counted that right), so it's not in the near future that the bimbos become the new Ella Fitzgerald, but if they do karaoke a lot (very, very, very lot), there'll be some improvement. (Not to mention that I have a thing for scantily clad chicks with guitars, so in case a band-focused ep or dlc comes out, I can make a band from them like I could do in Sims 3, and it will not be too painful to listen to them)
  2. Hey! Awesome stuff, but I have encountered a weird bug (or is it intended?). If I use it in my game (C&D version) certain skills stop working; singing, handiness and gardening does not improve at all, at least those are that I'm sure of. Others like charisma, comedy, WickedWhims naturism skill and many more are unaffected. As soon as I remove the mod, the "frozen" skills begin improving again. I actually don't know how it affects already improved skills, but it certainly prevents the sims from acquiring these skills. The game tells you that the sim got the gardening skill, for example, but it always stay at 0%, and it also disappears from the skill tab after a save/load. So, heeeeeeeelp?! I made a lot of Sim girls in the neighborhood bimbos, and without the mod they want to befriend the world! It's okay, I guess, but that's not what I had in mind :-) Edit: Okay, did some more testing. The aspiration itself works fine (at least the skills started improving again), but if any of the Bimbo, Arm Candy or Fuck Doll traits is present in a Sim, those skills freeze. Edit2: Nevermind. I looked into the package and saw it's intended. They are bit harsh in my opinion, but I can see the reasons behind those skill penalties.
  3. Ah-ha! So I'm not alone with this thing with the stopping passive mode.
  4. Nope, it does stop. I suppose the lack of text is just the symptom, my char really stops "looking" after a few minutes of not having customers. In fact I rarely stay in the inn where I got the job; I'm a travelling agent, hehe. Of course I turned the "restrict to innkeeper's town" option off, but maybe when I'm basically alone in a cell on the road between settlements it "pauses" the script somehow, until I meet someone and speak to them? Although I'm quite positive that it happened in Solitude and Whiterun too, in the middle of the day, with radius set to 30m and script frequency set to various values between 15 and 30 secs.
  5. I have a quick question. Is passive mode supposed to cease to work after a while? I mean when a certain amount of time passed without clients (I don't know how much exactly), the "I'm looking for a client" text stops appearing, and indeed no customers would approach. Switching to active+passive, speaking to someone, and asking if they wanted a good time restarts the cycle though, so no biggie, but currently in passive mode there's no more action than in vanilla Skyrim after a while. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? An no, I have not read through all the 1793 previous comments to find an answer, but I will gladly accept a comment number if it points me to a solution. Thanks!
  6. Uh, need a bit of help. I have this sliding problem during sex. My char is _always_ starts to slide after 8-10 seconds while having sex either initiated through Working Girl, Radiant Prostitution, Dangerously Nude or Defeat. Btw it does also, if only one of them is loaded, so I think it's not a collision. After the sliding/floating starts I can "order" her back to the right place with the "Realign Actors" key, but after 8-10 seconds she starts it again. Also I am using an alternate start (Alternate Reality, where you start approximately where vanilla Skyrim starts, only no cart, no beheading, and the town does not get attacked by the dragon), and maybe, just _maybe_, she's always "heading" towards the starting point using available roads. Could that be the problem? I tried other options, like toggling player clipping, but that only caused the PC to initially sink into the ground... I tried "tfc 0" which effectively circumvent the problem, the PC stays in place, but when the scene gets to the "finishing touches" (cum already appeared), it's already too late to switch back to normal camera, and eventually ctd _will_ occur at least on the next saving. I searched for "sliding" on the forums, and got a few hits, but none of them was exactly the problem I am having. One of them mentioned that "sliding" occurs when FNIS was not run "right", or was not run at all. Well, it was, and I can't think of a way it could be run "wrong". So, my question is that did anyone run into this same problem? If they did, could I get rid of it? Thanks! Edit: Well, disabled Alternate Reality, started a new game, and the problem's gone.... Who could have thought? Ummm, is it possible to list this incompatibility (not really, but quite annoying) somewhere in the first post of the thread?
  7. Happened to me too a few times, although not with this mod. Anyway, if you tried to load only once, try again once or twice, sometimes it will load without problems. If it keeps failing, try to start a new game, wait until "load game" becomes available in the menu (will take a while, unless you use an alternate start...), then try to load the saved game. However, it is adviseable to really wait, and load the game through the menu, because using the "load" command from console during the cart ride can cause other, really weird problems...
  8. To tell the truth, I haven't read through all the post in this thread, only the first and last few pages, so it is possible someone asked this before me, and if so, I apologize. I'm not even sure if it's this mod's problem, or SexLab's itself, but do anyone know why the PC starts moving 8-10 seconds after an NPC starts to rape her? The animation continues to play however, and I can "order" her back to the correct position with the "Realign actors" key... for another 8-10 seconds, then she starts to float/slide away again. The other party of the rape stays in place. Have anyone else experienced this? And if yes, is there any (more or less permanent) solution? Thx Edit: Nope, not this mod's problem. Happened to other SexLab mods too. Edit2: It seems issuing the "tfc 0" console command solves the problem at least until you have the flying camera, although must be really careful to issue it again before the sex ends, otherwise ctd occurs...
  9. Ah, thankie, thankie. Yep, turning off random rape was another issue with the modification I made, but since I switched that on rarely, it wasn't really an issue to me. Anyway, thanks for it!
  10. @pyrosushi Nope, that "cleanup" is for ending all ongoing acts. Nice to have feature something should go wrong. What I meant is that I think a SexiS upgrade requires a bit more work than just copying the new files into their places. You need a save _without_ Sexis; basically like if you never had that. So, 1. Save the game when no sex is going on 2. Exit Skyrim 3. Delete all files that belongs to SexiS (.esm, .pex, everything you see in the downloaded SexiS archive) 4. Run GenerateFNISforUsers 5. Load game. The game will say that something's missing, but we know that. In fact it may - or should I say, will - take more than one attempt to load successfully.... 6. Save game again, preferably into a new file 7. Exit Skyrim 8. Copy all files into their places 9. Run GenerateFNISforUsers 10. Load the last save. At this point (like at step 5) there could (will...) be problems when the game is loaded for the first time, but the second attempt will most likely be successful. At least I could update SexiS this way, while just copying the new files and loading the old save caused hangups, frozen characters and ctd's. Edit: I think more or less all mods with scripts and other advanced stuff must be updated this way, because the savefile itself contains info about the loaded mods, and it seems Skyrim can handle (most of the time) if something's missing, but will go crazy, if something's _changed_. However CBBE and other 'simple' mesh/texture replacer mods can be updated without this procedure, but SA and SexiS are way beyond that point.
  11. GetName is a form function in SKSE. So the form.pex, even the form.psc in the "source" directory should have come with the downloaded SKSE archive. Make sure you copied everything in the "data" directory into its place under Skyrim, including the "source" dir. Running SKSE dependent mods is fine without the .psc files, but if you want to compile scripts, you'll need them.
  12. @pyrosushi I think the crashes are because of something else. Both SexiS and SA use their own resources, so there should be no conflict in that. At least they are peacefully (more or less...) coexist on my PC. The only thing is when both of them want to take control of the same character. That should not cause crashes either, you just go dizzy from the constantly teleporting NPCs, or camera if your character is involved... Umm, come to think of it, you said you upgraded SexiS to a newer version. Have you done it to a clean save (disable SexiS, load game, save game, install upgrade, enable SexiS, load game again)? Because if not, imo that could cause crashes if something major changed in that mod.
  13. Try creating a papyrus log of this happening (instructions for papyrus logging are in the initial post), zip it and upload it so I can see what's happening to cause this. Okay, since I looked into it in CK, I decided to try something out. I made the following change to _SA_SexPreparednessScript.psc and complied it: casterBase = caster.getLeveledActorBase() casterRace = casterBase.getRace() casterName = casterBase.getName() if (_SA_CombatRapeSwitch.getValue() == 0) debug.trace("Combat rape is switched off") self.dispel() return ; endif if (target == Game.GetPlayer() && _SA_RPlayerInvolved.getValue() == 0) debug.trace("Player is not allowed to be involved") self.dispel() return ; endif if (!casterBase.isUnique()) casterName += " " + caster.getFormID() endIf It's not perfect, because I still see "Balgruuf the Greater decided to rape Svetlana" messages in the log and on screen, and he definitely closes on my character to do something dirty, but the act itself will not happen, instead Irileth gets to do her "duty" as it is allowed in Sexis Defeated. So, this is my workaround (but, again, not perfect). I hope it's useful for some extent (and that you won't get mad at me for messing around in your mod )
  14. Try creating a papyrus log of this happening (instructions for papyrus logging are in the initial post), zip it and upload it so I can see what's happening to cause this. Hi! I created the log, and will upload with this post. Got to rename to .txt because I could not upload it as .log..... Ey, man, it's a mess at startup Should do something about my mod-addictness... So, basically I beat up a few thalmor on the road in Whiterun hold, and then went straight to Dragonsreach. Irileth and Jarl Baalgruf instantly got excited, and the events are described in the log. I took a look at it, and one thing I noticed, then checked in CK. When the actors cast the _SA_SexCheck effect, it does not check for every settings. It checks if guys are straight, or gals are lesbians, does the attacker want to hump a sexy draugr, but it does not check a few (imo) necessary things, like if the target is the player and how the _SA_RPlayerInvolved variable is set. Same for the follower(s), but I think that could be tricky since there are a few mods out there, and who knows what method they use to track them. Also, there was a case when Farengar too got on the rapewagon, but I could not repeat that, so I think that was a coincidence. Maybe he hit me at exactly the same time as Baalgruf, or something. I hope the log will help. Thanks!
