  1. Alternate option for illusion is Frenzy over Harmony. Let them kill each other.
  2. You might look at this mod. IIRC it is working, if somewhat incomplete, at least as far as the author's goal. It makes some standard leveled NPCs into unique NPCs, so that would make them easier to capture. Might not be much more story, depending on what you want. They are at least more attractive that the default vanilla faces, so if that's what you're looking for, it will give you that.
  3. start smaller and build up to it. Find something you like. Look at what it requires. Install the first of those, launch the game, and do any configuration you need. Some frameworks don't actually do much so there might be no need to actually play, just make sure the game launches and doesn't crash. Then install the next part needed, then the next, then the actual mod (since you're having problems it is best to do it bit by bit.) Then find the next mod you want, and repeat the process. That way, if something fails when you start the game you can undo the last mod (or just uncheck it in Mod organizer), relaunch to double check, then read the requirements again and see what you missed. Post on a forum thread for the mod that isn't working what other mods you have, ask if there is a known conflict (after you have looked for one) and get that mod working. Eventually you'll be able to play the game, but it will be solid and if it breaks you'll know where to start looking when you have just added something else. You will also have a game setup that has all of what you want, nothing some pack author put in and you will know your setup enough that you can tweak things to make it perfect... ish. There will always be something you want that no one has made yet... or started but did not get out of WIP/Alpha.
  4. If it isn't the in game reason that khajiit are often looked at as thieves or as beastfolk, then I would second this suggestion based on what everyone else has said to this point. Or at least get friends with a better and more apparent sense of humor if they are just kidding you.
  5. There are other player home mods (at least that's what I remember most) that let you generate a passive income while you are not present. They also have options for increasing the income by NPCs you're able to recruit (miners, farmers, other skilled trades) and decisions you make to increase your income at the expense of NPC happiness, defensive options against bandits, dragons, giants, etc. Renaming some of the options for a brothel seems possible, but I think would mean more that just renaming stuff in the MCM. In other words, I think your mod does already almost exist in several forms, someone just needs to combine features from several mods.
  6. I think there was an addon for Missives or Notice Board that let you sex up the NPCs those mods would have you rescue.
  7. Have you looked at the Moonstone Castle mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56533 The author has a number of other large, spacious homes. There are also some outdoor type homes in their own worldspace so no dragon or wild animal attacks, though they require fast travel to an "exterior" entrance the world space, others have a spell to get there that may or may not take followers. I don't remember the name of one off hand. Along those lines you might look at some of the mark/recall spell mods and a few other mods that allow for teleporting to player selected MCM defined points. I think a mod here, The Manipulator, had such a feature. Sandboxing between various levels might be a feature of some follower and slave mods, as some people do want the NPCs to move around. There might be ways to disable that, or limit it for certain NPCs.
  8. I think the mod name is SL Triggers, if you want an SE version, otherwise the LE mod Sexlab Util can do this.
  9. I think they are saying Skyrim belongs to the Nords, not north... The CW and Main quests are mostly on rails without a lot of deviation. Being the Dragonborn and killer of Alduin, champion of Molag Bal and replace Harkon (as you list), or just werewolf out and eat the whole Palace of Eastmarch or the Blue Palace... should really have alternate options but I guess Bethesda was in a rush and ran out of time. as for the whole peace conference... see below I used the LE version of CWN and found it just so nice.... especially to ignore the whole peace conference thing.
  10. I never got to that mod so I can't give you any hints from looking under the hood. I see you've asked in the support thread for the mod so hopefully someone there can give you an official help.
  11. Depends entirely on how the mod stores the value and checks your progress. Some mods have those values hard coded into a script and checks if you have done so many things. Others will have values stored in variables and you can easily change the value with TES5edit, and sometimes you can change them via the console instead. Still others store progress as a faction rank and may store the goal as a hard coded value or a variable you can change but that also lets you change your faction rank on the fly via the console. You may need to change your rank and then do something that increases your progress normally for the mod to re-evaluate your progress and notice you have achieved the goal. Depending on whether the modder used = or >= getting to rank 11 when 10 is all that was planned may create a bug that stalls the progress.
  12. As with the other responders I generally do not do the civil war quests since it is dumb, often buggy, and makes world changes I don't usually want. When I do play the questline I tend to start it early as it will be part of the roleplay and goals of a character I am playing with a certain theme in mind. Mods changing certain locations or needing certain NPCs might change the timing or I might just plan to not use that mod's effects in my character planning.
  13. I don't remember this mod having anything autonomous for followers. The party event, if you invite your followers, would let them or any NPC there, engage with other NPCs attending. The Refuge requires a quest which I think relies on the PC killing dragons and unlocking words of the mod added dragon shout. IIRC the Courier brings you a note to start it.
  14. I like UsernameTaken's short answer "No". The long answer would be twofold. Firstly, what you are asking is for someone to offer for free what you've already found has costs, although the last time I paid for Nexus it was only $2. While that is a fairly trivial amount of money, were someone to host a 200GB file for anyone on the internet to download, the costs of doing so would not be trivial. The other downside to that is the second part of this answer. The reason you won't find too many mod packs is that mod packs are dumb ideas full of problems. Unless you're just looking for an armor mod that has 4k versions of all of the armors (and the actual visual quality in a 4k mod vs 2k or less is debatable), a pack that large would contain a variety of things you don't want and not contain some things you do You would still be downloading several things one by one. Peoples interests are varied and diverse and no one pack will do everything you want. That's why you are modding the game after all... it did not ship with everything you wanted. You are far better off both knowing what you are getting and getting it one by one so that you can make sure it all works together. Asking for someone to compile a pack with a bunch of mods that do not conflict and then provide it all for free is, in my opinion, too much to ask. On the off chance that you mean a download page with several download links on it (which I've only seen for Sims stuff here and not skyrim stuff on Nexus) there is an addon called DownThemAll that does let you download many links automatically. Depending on the browser you are using it might not be available or something else with similar features might be available.
  15. been a while since I did this, but one thing you might want to check is how whatever mod manager you're using handles BSAs if Sisters uses one or how it handles loose and override files. In MO2 (which is what I last used) something like FNIS would drop the files it created into the overwrite folder and they would work from there or I could create a mod folder from that but since they were at the end of the list they did overwrite everything. If you're using something else or the bodyslide output isn't in some compatible location, that could explain things. If your path is to the actual steamapps folder and you are using a mod manager that quite probably is part of the problem.
