  1. He isn't that bad once you figure out how he and the area work. And also
  2. The original menu music has been patched back into Doom Eternal!
  3. Oh, just classic Doom with few little mods. Barely noticeable, really
  4. Tried to replay Control, the Hartman fight reminded me why that was a bad idea. These guys should switch to visual novels or walking simulators. On something that is actually fun, replayed the fan remake of Playstation version of classic Dooms. Lots of nostalgia on that, since that's the version i started with (well actually i started with SNES version, but let's not talk about that ). It had more advance engine than PC version (transparent textures, colored lighting and such), and since it had all games it mixed some Doom 2 enemies into Ultimate levels. But many levels cut (mostly in Evilution and Plutonia), though also some new ones too. The existing maps have been seriously cut from PC (performace problems, i guess?). Also enemy counts and quality are very low (due to console controls?). Only the Plutonia levels present anything resembling a challenge. Still, fun to play trough for nostalgia's sake. Still, have to play the PC version too to experience it in it's true glory too. No, that is supposed to be a Spider Mastermind, not three Arachnotrons!
  5. I'm not a dad, but i'm 40, so i'm allowed to like those
  6. Sheesh! A new level and boss added to 30XX Early Access, and i'm already addicted to the background music ?‍♂️
  7. New patch has been released for Everspace 2 Early Acess. A new system (third one) and a new ship class which is a "rogue" this time, with back stab bonus and bullet time ? The game is basically a looter shooter in space. I find it quite fun, as my 80 hours of playtime in the Early Access would suggest. First one i've not played so much, as that was a rogulite.
  8. Well, Devolver delivers another great indie game again. Death's Door this time (Xbox trailer, but it's on Steam too). A Legend of Zelda type game where you play as a little crow with a glowing sword and reap souls of things. Awesome art style, and beautiful music. Story does it job, but is really nothing special. A great game for it's price. A bit short perhaps, and the "True Ending" requires pretty much just chores and there's no "True End Boss" for that end. The main story does, of course. Loved it the first time, and started to replay it right away after finishing
  9. And seven years later, i finally finished Alien: Isolation The art style and sound design are very authentic to the movie, it's the gameplay i have a problem with. Unpredictable insta-kill monster and checkpoint saving system. I understand it's supposed to build fear and tensions, but for me it's just an annoyance. Oh well, done with it finally. And did it on hard too, so i didn't just wuss my way trough it Okay, what's next in the "Really should finish now that i have the time" list? Factorio and Oxygen Not Included? Well, that would take a lot of time. Maybe i'll just replay Subnautica for the third time this month ?
  10. Just Cause 3. I find it a nice, relaxing, casual game about blowing military bases up with tanks, helicopters and whatever else Shame they screwed up the fourth game.
  11. Well that sucked. A bit too strong perhaps, but just not as good as the original. Now i wonder if there is a similar game where i'm allowed to DEFEND MYSELF AGAINST THE GIANT MONSTERS TRYING TO EAT MY ASS OFF! I'd love to play that one, but PS5's don't exist ? Loved the remake of the first game on PS4. It has always been one of my favorite series. I do have a working PS2, so maybe i should replay Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal
  12. Since i'm on vacation, i thought i'd spend time on something that takes a lot of time and don't want to waste limited gaming time. Therefore, Subnautica. Got that i got after i got VR headset, but then never really played it. Very pretty game, very awesome creatures. Bit hard to keep up where i've explored, with the underwater geometry with huge depth differences. Finished it in just few days. I'd buy the sequel, but Steam is bugging out at the moment. May need to play it again in VR with the survival mechanics, feels like i cheated by playing on Freedom
  13. ...I hate the world and everyone in it. But atleast the devs avoided making any edits to the game, apart from that one camera angle edit. Urinalist punching, hostage killing and slave trade assisting are all still in. Yet somehow they managed to make gameplay in ME1 even worse
  14. Well, that's Nier Replicant's E ending then. Nice, complex, twisty story that i expected, but left me with "misery blue balls". I AM NOT DEPRESSED HERE! I still prefer Automata. And of course the PC port is shit, but that goes without saying. Should i then get into the ME Legendary edition? Not sure if i want to commit to that trilogy, especially since i hate everything about the first game. Except Mako
  15. No pre-download for PC version of RE8? Weird, but whatever. These days it takes longer for me to wank than to download 45GB.
