  1. i have a new issue , ever since i have installed this mod ... my screen flashes by flashing i am speaking of light to dark light to dark @ around 400 cycles a minute, i can see everything fine it just flashes repeatedly and for some reason no matter if i load a previous game or a current game my player is always in 3rd person mode and i can not use tfc to get back to first person mode. i have an extremely fast machine and have no issues with my graphics as i usually get around 120+ to 280+FPS depending on my usage kinda helps to have 3 6gb GPU's in SLI any ideas?
  2. now all we need is a pain slut for every player home in all 9 provinces, all different ofcourse
  3. Hey Remy any updates on this issue?
  4. Hey there Remy i know the feeling and run into that problem once every 6 months or so ... I think i have just about every mod out there and have the 16tb's to prove it, trouble is every time it happens to me it means i need another hard drive, right now on this machine i have 2x4tb WD hard drives and 4x2TB hard drives and its a real pain on the ole wallet when it comes to needing another one
  5. Remy your fine and your pc is fine and your downloads are fine, the issue you just pointed out is that you downloaded 600kbs then it froze , that's telling you , that you have no more room to store information on your current setup. your hard drives are full . as for your new hdd that you are awaiting on all you haft a do if you are running windows 7 install the hard drive don't format it turn your pc on then goto your Start Button, right click on My Computer select Manage that will bring up Computer Management double click on Storage double click Disk Management now if your hard drive doesn't come up in the main center window then you will need to navigate to the left hand column and Right Click Disk Management under storage and select RESCAN DISKS when your hard drive is found it will list it in the center window and there will be a black bar under it , Right click on the hard drive and select format this hard drive you can give it a name Select NTFS in the filesystem label allocation unit size leave on default and most importantly untick the PERFORM A QUICK FORMAT then click OK then just wait for it to complete and when your done you will have your current hard drive and your new fresh hard drive, when you do get it up and running i would recommend moving your game downloads mainly your WINRAR 7-zip files to your new hard drive a free up your main hard drive
  6. well I'm kinda lucky, i have built and installed 8 of the pc's here and 2 for the building adjacent to us and 6 more for the business next door to us , not to mention the half dozen or so laptops that come and go . most everyone here was on the Qwest DSL Cough cough ...Dial up plan and when i brought in my laptop with full band wireless and boosted it off one of the bosses 3g cell phones i simple said this is what your pc's could do in real time rather then what your getting now, and they all jumped on it now all 3 stores have full 60meg DL and 15-30 meg up .. I don't physically work for anyone here in general , as I am my own boss and love the freedom that comes with it. So when I am here I am in general working on their PC's and bring my kick boxes in to do my work personal computing on.
  7. or he may not of been able to get back to the website, like me , only time i get to be here is when i am at work lol.....then i come here and offer help when i can
  8. and i don't have any problem with helping out here and there, its a big break from the usual crap i get to deal with like the 2 laptops i have right now both of them with slurpys that were spilled onto the keyboards and now one keyboard doesn't work and the other has keys that post something else other then what they are supposed to display, like the letter "M" that posts "@" symbols instead, this is what i typically get to deal with
  9. well i found one error on your system and I'm pretty sure this is the cause of your issues, OK your issue isn't a hard ware issue its a software issue: its not so much your software but rather what your software is reserviving for your hardware the reason i say this is both of your hard drives are pretty good sized however your PC doesn't scale them individually instead it combines both and then deducts usually somewhere in between 10-12% set aside per hard drive for Trash can properties the issue with both of your hard drives is That both hard drives are nearly full and when you download anything you are basically taking your download and telling your pc to occupy space reserved by your system programs like set windows trash can program. so it stalls out on you either delete files and make room or get another hard drive and use that for downloads and move to or install to other drives as needed . here is the file reports from the Everest program report you sent me....keep in mind each hard drive in windows usually sets aside 10-12% of your hard disk space for system files Trash Can being one of those files and is usually the largest. disk E: which i assume you use for your downloads is also where your dropping saved files to is showing at 4% space available at or around 26% combined for the 2 drives, which system wide equals somewhere around 7.5GB that looks big however take into consideration both of your hard drives equal somewhere in the 380-400gb with about a 15GB reserve for system files, now this translates to about 7.5GB split between the 2 hard drives for trashcan and other system utilities and 10%-12% typically used for system properties would be and should be around 38GB for the 2 drives ...so basically put your hard drives are maxed out and your systems telling you directly no more info can be stored either delete something/ clean your drives out and get rid of stuff you no longer need or get a new hard drive Drive Drive Type File System Total Size Used Space Free Space % Free Volume Serial A: Removable Disk C: Local Disk NTFS 39997 MB 31662 MB 8335 MB 21 % E01D-7BF1 E: (D) Local Disk NTFS 341545 MB 328759 MB 12786 MB 4 % 0CED-9A31 G: Optical Drive I: Optical Drive the above info isn't displaying correctly it should read as C: Local Disk NTFS 39997 MB Total size Used Space 31662 MB Free Space 8335 MB % Free 21% E: (D) Local Disk NTFS 341545 MB Used space 328759 Free Space 12786 MB % Free .04% 0CED-9A31 G: Optical Drive I: Optical Drive
  10. i used to think the same way there Ritual but yeah when i started my business selling for the MFG's of these pc parts its in their Writ documentation Warranties are only provided per card use and packet use, if you want a full warranty get the memory from the MFG in the stated amounts needed and they will sell you a complete package as such , when you purchase from places like NewEgg and Fry's and TD they don't inform the public of this as its considered small print ... and on the flip side 2 sets of ram from the same ram line can have and usually do have different timings and voltages due to their tested parameters, which is why when you purchase a set that is more then one dimm you are getting the chipset that is both closest to timing, and voltages as its counterparts in that set and would be covered on that warranty , if you do use more then 2 sets of close to each other purchased ram section make sure you tag the second or the first set with a different color tape like i use a leather punch and make up a bunch of vinyl tape dots , that way if a set dies you dun haft a guess , this is especially helpful with non HS equipped Dimms . I'll get you a few warranty files uploaded to my pc so that you can get a better assessment of my info
  11. Hey there Remy if you like you can run a Everest wizard report for me and send me the results i may be able to give you more info on this topic. if you are interested here is what you need : this isn't a guaranteed fix but it can be helpful in determining program errors and hardware issues http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html once downloaded make a folder on your desktop and drop the program download into it and then extract it there: once that is done open the program called EVEREST "Green Round Icon" generate a report from the Report Wizard upper left tabbed selection save report as html. and save to desktop then just email me the report to jeffreynolds66@msn.com anyone else is free to do this as well just be sure to leave me your inform name so that i can make sure i give you the correct findings back ***also one other note*** when you run this wizard dont use the mouse or keyboard till the report clears as this will give a false memory info feedback and this wizard takes less then 2 minutes to run through also dont run music or videos in the background as well just run the program and go get a cup of coffee by the time your done it will be done nothing reported in this wizard that can be used against you ...this program is used for determining hardware related issues and drivers supported, updates and possible upgrade info and basic programs installed , I maintain a 100% customer feedback profile on over 400 websites and guarantee you nothing will be shared with anyone else . period i look at it this way, if you cant mean what you say, how can you say what you mean
  12. Hey there one more point I'd like to mention , being that your listing isn't in my native language i overlooked an important feature, you might try and look for a motherboard that doesn't have native AMD graphics built into the board if you are going with an Nvidia VGA chipset as the motherboard you have picked is Native AMD crossfire supported , Nvidia and AMD don't play well together and not having any personal experience with this specific board I couldn't tell you if the Onboard graphics chipset can be disabled completely to allow for an Nvidia card to run effectively on it. this would inevitably give you some rather unusual BSOD's if not aware or experienced enough with the card and motherboard choice
  13. Great you won't have to go back later and upgrade the memory. Some might aruge but I cannot see the difference. Some have stated that the motherboard now has more "channels" for the data to go through. Think of it as having 2 people as opposed to 4 (or in this case 1 person to 2 since the memory is dual channel having data running through a pair of memory as opposed to Single channel) I'm one of those that would offer up an example of a debate on this topic, It's true that there isn't much of an issue on this topic except when it comes to matched ram/timings/latency and brand and kit of ram you choose for your build for instance for the most part in general you will find a lot of people out there will buy generic ram and plug it in their pc's and it will work fine. for the most part older systems and AMD Based systems don't have an issue with Ram however Intel based systems are dependent on their Qualification codes charts and specifics of the components that go into their systems and aren't so much as a guide but rather a This is what it "IS" and not what you want list for instance if you look at your board requirements you can goto their website and check their qualified vendor lists and look for the memory that has passed checks on this board , on this page it will show you the brand name, type used size of memory sticks and number of modules used, more often then not to a new comer to pc's it can be a bit overwhelming , but once you wrap your head around their principles it will be that much clearer in the future. as for the "my thoughts on this topic" the amount of ram that you put into your machine and the denomination of how many banks you fill will be dependent on what type of ram you are purchasing, either DUAL Channel or QUAD Channel as you wouldn't want to wind up with 2 DUAL Channel Ram sticks and 2 Quad channel sticks cause you'll be chasing BSOD's "Blue Screen Of Death" all month long till you figure out you have 2 incompatible setups also on a side note Memory vendors don't post memory kits available to system builders in the combine-able aspects that a lot of new to the building of pc's often fall into : when you purchase ram for your system and if you are planning on filling all 4 banks then get a full 4 sticks of 2gb's kit that will do that instead of 2kits of 2x4 kits ... most memory MFG's will only warranty their memory as long as your not combining kits ...its kinda hard to explain but to MFG's they test each sets of ram that are included in the set that you sell so if you buy a kit of 2x4gb for a total of 8gb's of ram that is what they will expect you to only run in your system just those 2 sticks of ram and that is what the warranty will cover as they are numbered on the ram consecutively most AMD systems and older pc's don't have an issue with Ram specs but i have found most Intel systems have variable issues with combined ram sets just my opinion there To all the Intel Lovers out there, i mean no disrespect, i know this seems like a lot of info but in the long run you'll find that Intel Systems may be well worth the money and can be a pure joy to own and run, but they can also be a pure evil to work on and fix not knowing these issues .
  14. yeah a good rule of thumb is take the VGA MFG.'s recommended PSU requirement and add 150watts to 200 more , and that will give you a good starting point, not many people will venture into Overclocking but sometimes its a requirement when your looking to get a stable running pc, and that may or may not lead to more additions like fans and fan controllers or larger fans ...in any event your looking at a utility that may need more head room then going with just the recommended psu requirements, on a side note though that VGA card you picked also has a triple power gain feature to it that will suck the life outta a 600 pretty easily especially a low end PSU. here is a quote from one of my other posts but the links give you a good starting point, they can be vague but at the very least it will give you a good starting point for your build and best of regards if you need help later on I'm sure someone will be around
  15. everything looks good but i see one thing that might come back to bite you in a couple weeks, may i suggest moving from the silver rated PSU 600 Watt lite edition to atleast a gold or platinum edition , difference is better components used in the construction of them with higher Caps and better quality controls in the mfg of the psu's also on another note your cpu may be a lower overhead voltage user but the GPU mainboard and the rest of your components are pretty much power users and dependant on such, i would recommend giving yourself a bit of head room and moving upto atleast a 750 watt
