  1. I discovered recently that the latest LOOT does now include Oblivion and that it works really well.
  2. I am just coming back to Oblivion after an 18 month break and as usual I have followed your excellent instructions. I thought I might as well inform you that LAPF etc is now included in the BOSS masterlist and get sorted properly. I hope that this is useful information.
  3. Good luck with this upgrade. I hope that the transition goes smoothly.
  4. Is there still a version of PSE See You Sleep that does NOT need Real Sleep Extended please. Having looked at Real Sleep Extended I definitely do not want it in my game. Thank you in advance
  5. Dragonhunter43210 - did you copy and paste the "decryption key" at the end of the link?
  6. Thank you so much fejeena - I already have correctly identified the hands, feet and lower body, however the upper body names got me totally confused
  7. I am looking specifically for the name/code to identify the mesh for the BB version of HGEC Fighter H-cup version B (rather than the weighted version A). I would like to be able to find it and save it separately if possible please.
  8. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/33574/? is a very little mod that tests OBSE and even lets you know the version you have installed I highly recommend it if anyone else finds themselves having similar issues to mine Yes my OBSE is working fine Thank you so much, you are so kind and helpful
  9. Oh well - I can only open the game with Steam - the normal launcher gets me the application error. This was never a problem with Skyrim for me Is there any way of checking that OBSE is working before I add any major mods do you know?
  10. Double posting to catch the attention of the experts here. After reading everything I have found and had recommended to me I finally decided to take the Steam route. I can actually launch and play if I go to the Steam Library and start the game there However if I try to launch the game from my desktop I get Application load error 5:0000065434. I have already done some research and am again confused by the array of answers. I would so love a problem free game to play EDIT - I have tried everything that was suggested in a thread on this issue here (last year) as well.
  11. Laughter is the greatest gift our species has I am now investigating the ISO option for getting my game off disk and into playable form on the advice of a Skyrim modder I met on FB of all places LOL. Being eager to use a wide range of mods is certainly good for making me learn new things and keep the remnants of my brain working I consider myself a novice however I am prepared to read, re-read instructions on any mod or tool I think might make a game even more fun after I have played it once in its vanilla incarnation Thank you again
  12. I think that we are both fairly multi-cultural from the sound of it My younger brother is the baby of the family though he doesn't look it nowadays My father was nearly 17 years older than my mamacita and his oldest child (by his first wife) is 30 years older than his youngest child Mama spoke 7 languages and up until she was 75 she worked as an interpreter at Heathrow and Gatwick, and also many southern ports - it was a very interesting career dealing with rescued sex slaves, drug barons from Central and South America and nearly everything in between. I love the sound of Turkish, it reminds me of Romanshk (which is a mid-European language I believe), there is a similar musicality to the flow of both languages I feel. "Ta muchly" is a phrase I still use a lot Apparently it is very funny when a little old lady uses it LOL Oh and one of my neighbours has just give me a jar of heather honey she bought this afternoon from a farm on the south side of the island and it is lovely *licks lips* I did wonder about "unhiding" the hidden files but I am not clever enough to guarantee I won't make one of the mistakes you warn me of It seems that there is a tool specifically designed for the job but there are very few comments on whether it is any good or not. LOL - thank you for the laugh though my meat eating is restricted to beef
  13. I grew up in Brighton, studied engineering at the University back in the 1970's and my kid brother went to Cambridge studying Physics in the late 1980's. Back then a woman Mechanical Engineer was extremely rare LOL. My father was a fighter pilot out of Tangmere during WW2 and my mother was a refugee from the Peron regime in Argentina back in 1952. There are some excellent pubs and clubs in both cities and you would love the clover honey we get here Wales is very beautiful but the language barrier is huge in some parts I am now on the Isle of Wight and I work as a designer and dressmaker as it is actually very close to engineering and seemed a logical transition when I left London. I have now discovered that SecuROM is the cause of my GOTY discs not working. There seems to be mixed opinions on what to do about it. There is a very complicated way of getting rid of this "hidden" allegedly anti-pirating software or I can use Steam which seems a lot easier. However I loathe the thought of "hidden" files on my pc that even as Administrator I cannot examine.
  14. Thank you tinman2u, I really appreciate your kind words. I lost my father when I was 18 and I helped my mother raise my 1 year old brother afterwards. Now 42 years later losing my mother after we had been so close has really knocked us hard. I am so glad that you were able to take the 6 months you needed after your loss, and I hope that you continue to be kind to yourself. Okay - I am going to have coffee, take the big red dog for a walk and then start all over again. You both have been so kind and patient with me and I really appreciate it
