  1. My suggestion would be to use the 1K version of interfaceshared0. This was the solution for another person earlier. (And obviously stop using the test files I earlier provided.) This compass scaling thing is 1) rare—like 1 in 100 users at most—and 2) an ongoing issue for anyone making UIs, as earlier noted. It doesn't look like there's a solid consensus on how to address the phenomenon universally. In this case, I've done all the cross-PC troubleshooting I can think of. If I had an affected system in front of me, I could most likely come up with a fix eventually, but things are rarely that convenient.
  2. This seems to be something that everyone making menus has struggled with. Try this: Forno and Fredas' Sexy Vault Girl Interface - compass overwrite.7z
  3. Install this and see if it makes any difference. Forno and Fredas' Sexy Vault Girl Interface - compass overwrite.7z
  4. I guess FOMM is getting tripped up on something that MO2 etc. simply aren't. But I can work around it, I think. See if FOMM is happier with this: Forno and Fredas' Sexy Vault Girl Interface - Alternative Release 0.51.7z
  5. Try the newest (0.51). VUI+ support needed a patch after changes were made to VUI+ starting with 9.38, but the patch had been missing some details related to the compass.
  6. This is because my mod does checks to make sure all of the needed plugins are up to date. It's telling you you haven't installed xNVSE 6.2.8 or later. And yeah, I can imagine that not having that installed would cause problems. It's just your bad luck that xNVSE was the one not up to date, which in turn caused things to crash outright, thus preventing the mod from ever reaching the point where it could tell you something was out of date.
  7. V0.4f: Fixed the issue with In My Footsteps noted earlier by Keganew, and added an alternative icon for the Hobbler perk.
  8. Try this. Instead of renaming the folder, hide every text file except gl_Forno_Fredas.txt. And then if that doesn't work, do the opposite. Process of elimination.
  9. Well hang on. The stuff in NVSE is kind of important, so it's probably best if we can figure out what's not installed correctly. I guess the first step would be to check the jip_ln_nvse.log in FNV's root folder, after loading a game save. You'll find "gl_Forno_Fredas" along with either "Success" or "Failure".
  10. Could try temporarily renaming the NVSE folder. I can't imagine textures by themselves causing a CTD, but maybe some of the background maneuverings are throwing your setup for a loop.
  11. Nope, that's definitely a new one, texture replacements causing a CTD. You might try installing lower quality (1080p) from the file I provided a few posts up. In it, I converted everything (in the 1080p version) to pure vanilla and it seemed to help another fellow with a completely different issue he was having. The other thing to try is to ensure your game was installed with "high" quality settings. Per the installation help page that you had to skip through to install the mod, there are a couple of settings in the game's ini files which may dictate this, and changing them to 0 might be all you need to do.
  12. Alright. It took a couple of hours, because there is no automated means for performing the necessary process, but I have converted every 1080p texture in the mod to the vanilla compression, just for this one outlier. Chances are good that this will work on your PC. You will need to install this as the 1080p package without "High Resolution Screens" support, as those are the only ones I converted. I need to take a moment to underscore how unique of a problem it is that your game (or your PC) would refuse to display textures if they aren't happily of a specific compression. This could perhaps be solved for real by reinstalling the game from scratch and making certain not to select anything but the highest quality the game allows. I also feel that the above-suggested change to the .ini files would have made a difference, had those been implemented. Forno's Vault Girl v0.4d (1080p vanilla compression).7z
  13. V0.4d: Added some much-needed checks for plugin dependencies, and fixed the logic of the stats menu avatar's faces at the various damage levels, to closely match the intended sequence:
