Triple X Tycoon (v2.5+)

Originally I had sought to make a rigid turn-based business simulator that focused on the adult industry. I was going to include everything you'd expect from any other tycoon game but with the ability to sell-out and start again. I was going to have A.I generated performers and personalities with custom product development complete with video formats from VHS to VR and beyond.

 

But then I added goblins, clowns, guns, LSD-laced soda, aliens, meteors...mutated cats. And damn was that more fun. But things got a LOT harder. I went real-time, let the player get some fresh air every now and then. I wrote an engine to support a city, more areas, more interaction. Then scaled it all back again when shit got too unruly So far the result is that things don't exactly look as they seem on the surface. Welcome to...

Having strong kegels is a performer trait, a long tongue is considered macroglossia and can be a good time for someone on the receiving end. The bottom line is, I had a lot of fun working on this. But not a lot of money. And it really sucks! So here I am again (I've been here before) but with more to show for the absolutely slow, excruciatingly painful 3+ years I've been developing this game in my spare time under a company named after a type of restroom.

 

 

It's hard explaining to people how it takes time developing a mechanic that allows you to decide whether or not a career in voyeur clown porn is right for you. And then having to cut it at the last minute because your clown assets are too limited to make assets with. Who knew it'd be such a tough racket. But I guess it's not all bad on a good day! And at least my mother doesn't know yet.

 

 

 

 

But anyway, I'm going to keep working on the damn thing until shit hits the fan and I have to stop. I'll be doing things a lot differently than I have been very soon, beginning with daily updates on the website as soon as I can rest long enough to continue functioning over the next few days. Just a small break!

This is definitely interesting!  And 3+ years!!  I can't see this getting onto Steam (explicit sexual content is a no-no and Greenlight's been destroyed as a concept), but I would love to see the finished product!  Or at least a demo.

An actual demo is coming soon.  What's available now is a kind of extended play full of the feature concepts but light on depth.  The good news is that I've basically just turned a of of things off and released what I thought was a stable version on the website under my version of Early Access.  Speaking of, yeah I found out today that we failed the final Steam review due to pornographic content!

Yup that's exactly what we've gone ahead and did.  The censored version is actually slight more work because the feature was meant to be "minimal" initially.  But Steam wants a "complete" censor.

Been a rough couple of months. One thing after another, still playing catchup.  Long list of bugs that vary from user to user but it's all getting ironed out.  I'd like to have v2.5c out before the new year. Followed by v3.0.  Thanks for the support!

Well, I did good and bought the game, but don't like how it says '3 downloads remaining' (and after a misclick, 1 now) after purchasing. I hope that gets reset up updates and I didn't just purchase 'one' version of the game, with future updates being paid for. That's the sort of thing that makes my finger hover over the 'open Paypal dispute' button.

 

That said, I'm glad to see a release of sorts. I've been following the game quite a while now.

And well your downloads are reset with any official changes to the file package or upon request.  One purchase grants access to all patches and future expansions.  Sorry about the confusion, we'd like to know where it was implied that this was not the case.  Feel free to shoot an email to janitor[at]joy-toilet[dot]com.
