Need help converting outfit...

I really love this outfit from Skyrim/SE http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3914/? and I've started editing/converting it, I've gotten as far as everything done in Bodyslide Studio but no matter how many guides I follow I can't seem to get it in game. If I get to the point of it in game I CTD when I equip it. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or be so nice as to finish it up for me. I have all the textures/meshes/materials. I've talked to the original creator and he says he's done with modding to look to the community. Thank you for your time.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention that I am a complete noob to making mods of any kind.
