Why are NPCs piling up in this doorway?

I don't suppose anyone happens to know which one of these 200ish mods is responsible for making every NPC in existence pile up in the doorway of the rented room at Candlehearth hall every time I sleep? It's really irritating.

I have heard of this happening before, though I haven't seen it myself.  I don't think it is a particular mod that causes this, nor is there a reliable way to fix it.  It's a silly problem with sandboxing in some of the larger inns in skyrim.

Well, it's only in this particular spot. It doesn't happen anywhere else that I've noticed. I do have one mod that increases the vertical size of NPC sandbox radius. If nobody has any other suggestions, I'll disable that and see if it still happens.

I believe that happens even in a basically vanilla game, so it may not be due to your mod. I think that's the area where all Candlehearth NPCs spawn, so IDK if there's a fix or not.  One wakes up and everyone and their brother is in your room. Not very immersive is it?

An XMarker that may have been causing NPCs to spawn in your room in Candlehearth Hall has been moved

I always thought it's cursed loot in my game, but it seems you don't have that. I assume those guys are just creepy and wanna watch you sleep? Did bethesda actually do something that might as well be a LL mod? :D

Just have seen http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/86022/? GTFO my room on nexus you may try that, but for the issue in general I would also assume that area is the point of origin for the npcs.

it features this nice thing which fits your and the others issues pretty much

I remember I used to be able to sleep in that room without all of Windhelm standing there to say good morning, so I think it is one of these mods. I've just burned my entire skyrim data folder down to vanilla state and reinstalled literally everything because NMM didn't correctly handle the fact that I reinstalled all my games a month ago to an SSD. Some mods were active, some weren't and it just made a mess of things.

I'll see if it still does it after I get it all set up again, though I remember it did this on my old PC as well. Immersive Wenches might also be a culprit, now that I'm thinking of it.

I don't know why after so many years of recycling this game engine over and over that Bethesda hasn't fixed it so NPCs never EVER just stand stupidly in doorways. This mod has been a real sanity saver since I found it. I made a similar one myself for Oblivion. Remember Half-Life 2? NPCs following you around immediately backed out of the way if you walked toward them. It's not rocket science.
