Floppy SoS problems?

When using floppy sos the balls just freak out and go away from everything sometimes and I don't know how to fix it. I usually can reload or turn it off on that particular 'set' but if I turn it back on it starts freaking out again. I'm not sure how to find whats causing it or how to fix it long term though.

 

(Also I forgot how to flair topics and stuff but when I tried looking I didn't see anything right off the bat.)

Do you have your framerate limited? Like all other physics in Skyrim, the HDT physics are tied to your framerate, and aren't really "designed" to go above 60 FPS.
