Ok so I am using Rory Cambells conversion for Nirwana bandage armor (the skirt in particular)

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/47100-rory-campbells-bodyslide-2-conversions/?view=findpost&p=1372404

of the Nirwana armor bandage by Sakumz

Nexus mod 59923

I altered the skirt by removing the bandage on the upper right thigh leaving just the skirt.

but I have this problem in game

As I idle and sway from side to side, the one side of the skirt doesn't sway with me and clips into my leg. also when I jump it elongates and deforms.

What did I screw up and how do I fix it?

I removed the bandage part by deleting it in outfit studio on the nif 0 and nif 1 and than changed to item slot to 52 from 49.

Then I changed the item slots in CK at both the armor and the armorAA level.

EDIT: Its not your fault he painted on the weights wrong lol, plus you didn't delete a bone that was being used by the bandage.

HERE IS THE BODYSLIDE FIX:

SKIRT FIX.7z (Generate nirwana skirt in bodyslide)

OR

you might have better results doing it yourself because I use UUNP if it doesn't work correctly for you I haven't tested

IF YOU WANT TO DO IT YOURSELF:

1.) Use the original bodyslide files you have

2.) Create the Skirt in bodyslide

3.) Load up your reference body and nirwanaSkirt_0.nif as outfit.

4.) Delete the object named "NPC R Thigh [RThg]"(BANDAGE) then select  NPC Spine [spn0] (SKIRT)

5.) Navigate to the Bones tab Find NPC L Calf and NPC R Calf and remove the weight painting from the skirt by holding ALT+Left Clicking.

6.) In the Bones tab find NPC R Thigh [RThg] and select it and copy selected weights over to your skirt.

7.) Click the Bones tab again and select NPC R THIGH [RThg]_1 DELETE IT from outfit and then DELETE it from project.

8.) Save Project as and you're done :)

In my bones tab I don't have a NPC R Thigh [RThg] just a NPC R Thigh [RThg]_1 I can add the NPC R Thigh [RThg] but it doesn't have any weights assigned to it.

I suspected the NPC R THIGH [RThg]_1 thing was part of the problem because when you go into add a bone you can't find that bone on the base skeleton which lead me to believe is was a custom bone reference or maybe something to do with a different skel I don't use... I don't know I just couldn't find that one and I could find all the others which seemed odd to me.

Okay remove this NPC R Thigh [RThg]_1 save it.

Open bodyslide again click FILE>New Project>Load your body reference here click next> Load the outfit you just saved.

Now you need too look for in the bones tab NPC R Thigh [RThg] and copy it over to your skirt and then save project as.

"and copy it over to your skirt "

This is where you lose me. By Copy it to your skirt is there like something in the menu to copy and paste it? I see like the copy bone weights and stuff but I don't see how to aim that at my skirt.....

You right click your skirt object and select copy selected weights. But make sure the bone weight (NPC R Thigh [RThg])is selected before you choose this option.

EDIT: if you need hands on assistantce I can always jump on teamviewer help

Ok the skirt part is fixed (you rulez thank you so much for your help btw)

But there appears to be a significant amount of issues on the waist line..

could that be caused by NPC Spine [spn0]_1? It appears to be painted (when selected in the exact spots that are foozelled, and also has the _1 thing making it a bone that I can't find on my base skel)

What do you mean by issues do you mean clipping?

Not actual clipping

It is hard to see in the pictures I guess, but it is kind of like the waistline is being pulled into some point inside my pelvis.

Hmm okay yes if that is happening the weights are tied to some bodypart is causing it to contort in a weird way,, so you can remove the weights from the skirt. But if it says that you're missing vertices when you try to save don't save as it will crash your game if you attempt to load it up.

If you don't know or are not familar with painting on your own weights I need you to send my your generated SKIRT_0.nif weight and i can do it for you.

You can add me to steam so it will be easier to chat if you want http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198066049089/
