This is an initial proof of concept (MEANING THERE WILL BE PLACEHOLDER TEXT) for an adult oriented career for the sims 4. Seeing as no one had made one by now, I decided to create one myself. I know Turbodriver will make one down the road, which will most likely make this mod obsolete, but until then I hope to expand on this mod.

 

I hope to expand on this mod with multiple branches/genres which all have their own advantages/disadvantages. For example if you chose to star in softcore, you wont get as much money or PTO, but the job is rather easy. But if you choose to star in for example anal scenes, and choose the equivalent to "Work Hard", you'll most likely end up with a rather "sore" body. At least I hope to get some personality to the genres.

 

I don't know if people want me to add the images for the branches as I've done as of now, or just drop them.

Waitress > Topless Dancing > Full Nude Dancing (> Champagne Room?)

 

If you were to add prostitution, it would probably be a second half job.

Streetwalker > Bordello Worker > Private "Escort" (> Madame?)

For the professional track where would you include positions like "fluffers" or "scene extra"?

 

Perhaps I'd put it in the amateur stage, as the poorly named professional stage is meant for when the sim has become a pornstar in her own right.

 

It seems like it would make sense to have erotic dancing and straight up prostitution as possible options.  Maybe replace the early casting track with erotic dancing?

I like these, I might add them as alternative paths to becoming a star. Thanks!

First would like to say I saw that this is very early alpha, so this is to be expected, but I am having a problem with your mod while it is installed. I can not save.

When I try to save I get the following:

How hard is it to make a custom career? I would love to try and make my own.

 

It's actually not that hard, just tedious with the current tools. There is a bit of trial and error though.

Fixed, there was a problem with the tuning ids I used for my objectives, as they apparently have to be within a certain range. I have uploaded a new version where that will no longer be a problem (at least not for the objectives =/).

 

this is amazing in concept hope it blooms to what you hope for 

 

since you were asking for suggestion etc, bestiality, or other fetishes could be  used as branches 

 

I'll consider adding it.

 

I think you should add Charism too to promote ^^

Tip: SAVE ! Before each moving, save because you have a chance to rollback :/

 

Yes, I definitely plan to use both charisma, athleticism and WhickedWhims sex skill as objectives where applicable. Keep in mind that I'd like to keep a sort of game-y approach to the tree and skills. I'm sure (in real life) a camgirl would benefit being "better" at sex, but I'm keeping those early stages simple and saving some stats for later branches.

I will try what you have upload this week.

I have been creating my own career too in the last few weeks, but is really hard, specially since i am learning what links to what at same time.

For my personal use i have made a couple of nice things but for now is mostly tunning instead of stand alone career.

 

One of the most frustrating things is how hard/impossible it is to add your own custom career outfits! then all the interactions you need to go by from vacations to progressions and conections to previous careers.

Some days i kind of give up and just keep on adding flavour things to my own.. but is actually not easy.

 

So i hope you keep on going, even if it is in slow pace with this careererotica.

 

I will keep on doing mine and seeing what others have done, so one day i will be able too to present a solid bug free standalone career to then start work in a active career like Turbodriver ones.

i will be back with feedback after some game play.

This is the same issue that th1s1smyusername reported. It was due to me using a tuning id too large for the persistence handler in the sims 4 to handle. It has been fixed in the uploaded version 0.1b.

 

console cant open in games .. ctrl + shift + C

 

This is something i cannot reproduce on my computer. Anyone else having this problem? Perhaps try to update to 0.1b and see if the problem persists.

I might be getting ahead of myself here but is it possible, once the foundations are set, for this to become an active career?

e.g, have your Sim turn up at the studio and make videos and what not?

It might be a tad impossible, but I just love the concept of this and think that this would help flesh it out a bit more.

It is possible, but for now I'm going to focus on getting a playable rabbit hole career mod out first.
