this information was copied from the GOG forums.

copy a steam_api.dll from another game and rename the copy as GalaxyWrp.dll
then drop the copy into the install folder for the fallout game (Eg: "C:\GOG Games\Fallout New Vegas")
note that you may need to copy the "steam_rld.ini" as well.

warning: this is hit and miss, it's working for some people but not for others.
