I just found out about TK17, HELP!?!?!

Hi All,

 

I mainly dwell in the Skyrim forum so apologies if I have posted incorrectly here.

 

I have just found out about TK17 and it looks amazing, some of the people on naughty machinima have done some amazing stuff.

 

is there a guide I can follow to make TK17 look like the stuff on naughty machinima

 

including links for downloads and guides etc?

Personally speaking. I hate TK17. I have a powerful rig and the game literally utilizes almost none of my hardware. So basically what that means is if you have this beast of a computer and the game will run just as slow as the guy playing it on a potato. It's really stupid. I mean Hook5 makes it run a bit better... but not enough to right home about.

Yes, the game can look good. 

Yes there's a fair amount of awesome user made content; like animations, models, textures, etc.

and that's where the cool ends. 

No, it doesn't have any freedom.. like skyrim to roleplay, freely and accurately place your character in the game world. The system TK17 uses is clunky and full of glitches that will most likely land your scene inside of a wall when you try to get that exact placement you try.

No, it doesn't have high enough visual quality to make it worth while. Skyrim visually looks superior in every way and runs far better and more stable(If you know how to setup your skyrim right)

No it doesn't have greater variety in animations than Sexlab setup. Skyrim adult modding has gone so far that there are now hundreds of animations all of which can be easily custom adjusted to fit model scales. In TK17 every animation you use requires completely different body scales that never align. You can spend hours just trying to get an animation to look right. In Skyrim if you know what you're doing it takes literally 30seconds at most.

 

Take it from someone who has spent a fair amount of time setting up TK17. My setups have looked just as good as the Video's you have seen on Naughtymachinima but none of those have ever looked as good as a properly setup Skyrim Sexlab setup. Hundreds of hours literally to always be disappointed. Eventually, I gave up. Everything takes so long just because after you heavily mod it. It takes 12 years to load the game no matter how powerful your rig is.

 

However, if you really want to try it that badly.... then go to this site. modsgarden.cc/  It is basically TK17's version of Loverslab.

 

P.S. TK17 had a lot of potentials but its failings will drive you to insanity sooner rather than later. In addition to this, there is literally no Monster/Beast content which is something I really enjoy in a 3D environment(Real life Beast stuff disturbs me, strangely enough, 3D doesn't). So basically if you hated Skyrim's poor optimization. You will loathe TK17's. I honestly don't understand how the content creators of that game tolerate it. Skyrim is like 10 times better by comparison. A heavily modded Skyrim will load for me from startup in less than a minute(usually 30seconds-1min) easy if not faster. A heavily modded TK17 that isn't even anywhere near as modded as what I will do to Skyrim will take 3-7mins sometimes(not kidding, it's that bad). If you want to make any meaningful changes it requires a re-load every time... 3-7mins... imagine how long of a day that will be if you're creating an animation and testing it on different models etc. Just mind blowing... lol

I concur with 3Dmember though, I suggest Honey Select Studio. It may not be perfect either but it's a lot less of a hassle compared to the payoff, and still has a fair amount of mods. If you want to get started on that check the honeyselect thread on /h/

Id say to just try Honey Select. I've used tk17 too, andlike 3dmember said,  it can get really complex.

TK17 is based on a stolen 3d sexvilla build, 2.6 i think. That version was released almost 10 years ago...its an old engine that was never meant to support high res textures, high poly models etc. Yes, you can force it to use 4gb+ Ram and 4k textures, but it will never be efficient or stable. As 3DMember said, Skyrim is a lot better sex simulator than tk17/3d sexvilla. Which is hillarious.

 

There is also VR Titties sexsim on unreal 4, but its in early alpha i think.

Actually, I have to disagree with most of the comments here about Klub 17 and 3d Sexvilla 2 (except for the slowness of it. That's true. Actually, the trick is to quit the game every time you want to use a different module in the game. It reloads the same information every time you change a module and has horrible memory management.)  You can place your character accurately anywhere in the scene. But sometimes you have to fool around with the movement system to get them right where you want them.  

 Skyrim has great adult animations, but it is only one genre...medieval. And yes, it has more locations to use it in, but both Klub 17 and Sexvilla give you far more control over the characters, their appearance and their movements, if you learn how to use the pose editor. I've made over 500 poses for my own use, most of which are superior to Thrixxx's and many of the other pose makers. The sequencer now has the ability to change lighting, and characters in the middle of a sequence, but you do have to have the legal version of 3dSexvilla 2 to do that. Klub 17 hasn't upgraded to that ability, afaik. 

For example, you can't make any movies using modern locations, like a strip club with neon lights, in Skyrim. It's just not possible. And there are literally thousands of poses available on gamerotica.com, as well as models, sex toys, and clothing of every kind and description. No program I have yet found, except maybe Daz3d gives you the kind of variety of product available for 3d Sexvilla 2. The drawback is that almost every item in the game requires sexcoins to purchase it, and although they can be earned free, it takes an incredibly long time to generate enough to get anything decent. Thus you need to be constantly shelling out real money. At last count, to get everything Thrixx has to offer, not counting player made mods, cost about $750.  But that applies to Daz3d and Poser as well.  Both are money sinks. But if you're just trying to make a machinima video, you don't need everything. Just get what you need. 

Another option is Sims 3 or 4. Both have very good sex animations available. But they bodies aren't nearly as realistic looking as Skyrims.

Absolutely agreed with @Lord of Juice yeah maybe the game itself have good animations poses etc but i told you one thing The game's community named Modsgarden needs some order.. Everything are complicated and half and many links are dead. I'm impressed how community still alive? lol. Many new users are deleted or forget the game and forum cuz as i said once it's needs some order. No any good tutorial at all people are impressed at this game but after, they getting doomed man... I know it's been a while :) but im full of rage and needs to discharge all that rage.. Also it's really cringe you can't play this game with a good extreme graphics unlike Skyrim etc without paying money. (it's called Hook5 graphics enhancements tool for TK17) But you can play with extreme graphics-visuals in Skyrim and others with no paying any money you just need some half-high end pc etc. There is so many adult games out there. Personally I am going to have to disagree with a lot here.  I have messed with SkyRim, Sims 4, Honey Select, TK17, and 3D SexVilla and I always come back to TK17.  Now I am running the newer Version 10 (VX) they released earlier this year.  I personally create mini episodes using TK17 and Sims 4. In the past 3 years the game has evolved substantially.

 

What I agree with:

1. Yes the game is old and as it is a rip of 3D Sex Villa you can only do so much on an old game engine.  A good video card is key, but you can get by.
2. 3D Sex Villa actually still has a pretty active community behind its Gamerotica pay service which is pretty easy to bring into TK17 with a sample drag and drop.
3. Honey Select has the best animations but your really limited on making your own and its pretty boring real quick. Also trying to create an scene in that game still is a mystery to me in how it works.  In addition to many of the girls having an Asian look
4. I tried SkyRim and it in my opinion is actually more complex than TK17.  Just getting everything setup is a chore, even though it runs better on older hardware
5. Sims 4 is a good middle ground as it has pretty good animations and a huge community.  The problem there is that a lot of things for SIMS are being put behind Patreon paywalls
6. ModsGarden.cc is the TK17 community which is currently down.  While each community has it issues, its nothing different from anywhere else.  Some folks on discord are actually trying to start a new community here if I can get the club approved.

TK17 Is more of a movie maker.  Yes there is a free play, but it is setup as a simulator to record your own little porn movies.  The most powerful thing about it is it's pose editor.  In my opinion it is simply more powerful than the rest.  I personally have created or modified over 1500 poses of my own, with about 16,000 poses I pull from if I am trying to do something specific.  Here is one of the movies I made with TK17: https://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph5f14fefb1fafb I use OBS to record the capture, and Filmora 9 to overlay my own audio and stitch things together.  That's it nothing major

 

My equipment is a Dell G7 with a GTX 2060 that I have only been using since early this year.  Before I was using a Dell Inspiron from 2015 with ATI Discrete graphics.

 

I also attached just a few animation examples of what I have personally done with the pose editor being played in a sequence or scene.
