Fallout4Custom.ini causing Long startup time

Recommended Posts

Hi hi, as the title says my fallout4custom.ini is causing my game to have a long start up time. I once waited 5 minutes. Im not sure whats up.

I tested it by taking out the fallout4custom.ini and it started up really fast. I know that means its loading textures and stuff, so it must be a mod or something. Ive had tons and tons of mods before and never had this issue, ive had even more texture mods than what i have, but for some reason this time around its giving me hell.

That is not the complete list where your offical esm files ?? what version of fallout 4 are you playing ?? also if your game is updated to last version then some mods may need to be removed they are old and not been updated to the latest version they could break your dlc's if your using any of it.

Robot Home Defence.esm

is really old and would break some of your dlc. like Automatron

Your ENB has nothing to do with load time.  ENB and other program such as Reshade don't work until you have graphic on screen.

Beside Robot Home Defence.esm, you need to make sure to check and update all mod regularly.  Anything involved settlements are very tricky.  I don't mean creators of Homemaker kind of mods are bad, but the whole system is complicated. Not as simple as Armorsmith and a couple of weapons or outfits.  Armorkeywords need to be updated. Homemaker needs good attention (and read their instructions carefully on how to update/uninstall/install) because if you don't follow their instructions things will go bad.

Craft and ANimation Markers also needs special care in uninstall/update.

Snap and Build may be old.  I am not sure if they are still functional since I haven't touched Snap and Build (although very good mod).
