[Search] Argonian-themed Family Home

Recommended Posts

I posted something in the Adult Mods Request and find thread in regards to finding and rescuing Derkeethus, an Argonian follower. I really like this NPC and thought that he and my Bosmer would make an interesting and cute couple so I married them off.

Long story short, I'm looking for a family friendly Argonian-themed home. Darkwater Den is gorgeous, but not child friendly. I play my Bosmer as a very "one with nature" type PC so I fell in love with that place and I'd like for the Argonian to feel at home.

Does anyone know of a place similar to the mentioned house that has a room for kids?

I tried this one once.  Has only two kid beds though and a bosmer would possibly find it ... closed in.

Its on the other side of the hill from his old home town too if that matters.

It's making me a bit claustrophobic just looking at it, but I'll give it a go. It's hard to find really nice or race-themed houses that are family friendly. Thank you very much! xoxo

Its not that bad size wise, about as large as most other nordic ruins. I'm just thinking that bosmer would like something a little more outdoors and airy.

Though, I suppose argonians wouldn't need something underwater. Wet and marshy would do fine. I can't think of or remember any that had a lot of water in them.

Yeah, me either. As much as I looked Darkwater Den is so perfect for Agronians and it felt very outdoorsy even though it was underwater. It was great because my PC could collect water, bathe, catch fish and cook it, etc. The only buggy thing about that house is that it's not shag friendly. I guess it's meant for just one person because whenever my girl and her lizard husband get down and dirty on the bed, they fall through it. They can only do it on the floor. They can sleep in the bed only, but that's it. :(

Thanks for the cave home suggestion. I downloaded it and will do the quest to live in it. :) xoxo

Don't get me wrong, I love "flooded" and all the water pools for bathing and what not and I just love pools of water in general. I just now finished the quests to find this place and it is so beautiful. Not as gorgeous as Darkwater Den, but very beautiful. Tons of storage, lots of beds for kids and followers, the place has fire flies and plants growing inside, etc. Again, I'm having an issue with the bed. Even if I just sleep in it I fall half way through. I don't get it. Still, I think it's a great place for an Argonian and a Wood Elf to raise a family - it has the best of both. :)

And I totally agree about the searches...

Huh, same behavior in two different beds makes me think its a bed problem that either both mods are doing the same thing wrong or are using the same resource for bed objects.

Guessing you can sleep on beds elsewhere in the game?

You know, I had a problem with one of the Breezehome mods which in there were either two beds in the master bedroom, no bed, or it was blocking access to another room. I read into this and it turns out that there are reported issues with a mod called "Go to Bed". If this is the culprit then it sucks because I recently found that mod and feel like I can't live without it. I have zero problems with sleeping at inns or an empty bed in a dungeon. That last one is for RND, my PC gets tired if the dungeon is long then gets her ass kicked or assaulted sometimes... if she's fighting while "very tired".....

Personally I would recommend Light Moss Hall and Celestial Eden Caverns... and I just found out Light Moss Hall is gone for some reason. WTF. Anyway, Here's a link to the cavern:

I haven't tried any of these yet, but they also look like they might be appropriate:

I took a look at all these lovely homes, but they are not family friendly and I'm looking for a nature place with kids beds. Thanks anyway. :) xoxo

Greenboat I'd looked at once. Simple and small, all it kinda needs is a way to teleport it to different lore friendly places on the rivers of Skrym.

I had a couple other houses in mind but cannot seem to find the files.  It probably doesn't help that as I filled on hard drive I started moving and downloading mods to another computer so I have two places to look and some things in both.  Nothing new for me though but for some reason practice does not make one better at finding things in such a state.

Aww, sorry about that. I did some searching and I found a link to some screenshots of Light Moss Hall, which is kid and follower friendly.

Wish I could do more to help, finding Argonian friendly content can be a bit of a bitch sometimes.

Good news, I found one of the mods I remembered having. Bad news it wasn't kid friendly (didn't think so, I just remembered it and wanted to find it)

I did not find a much larger house mod that was a fallen in ruins of a place. Very natural and overgrown (but maybe not as much water).  Was pretty sure it was in the Rift area but could not remmber if it had kid beds or not.

There is a mod house I use that isn't exactly natural but does have a nice tree inside.  Room for iirc 6 kids and 6 followers and plenty of general room in one large space divided by short walls and things.

Nothing to apologize for! It's a great house, but it only has two kids beds. Please don't think I'm being a PITA about being so picky about these houses, I have a specific reason for this. I posted this on my other thread. That's why my house needs are so specific. :( The Argonian is my favorite husband/companion or whatever and I love the look of those homes. Plus I think the style fits both a Bosmer and an Argonian.

The house is so gorgeous! I've downloaded it and will use it if Druid's Den doesn't work out. Thank you!
