Mis-timed DI animations

I used them forever but somehow over the last few games the DI animation (doggy, bj and 3some) are all horribly out of sync. The male stands and pushes with his foot way early and she will fall over more than once...that kind of thing. How do I fix this and any guesses how it got broke to start?
