Reporting [WW] Lastexception.txt

Recommended Posts

I would really love some help with this. Ever since I have installed version: 2.1.2.094 of  the WickedWhims mod I have been getting these 'lastexcepition.txt' like other people have. The first few ones Ignored but I kept getting a couple more. My game had been running fine till the last time I played which was yesterday night, when I tried to save my game while my sim and a townie were on a date I got a message that was along the lines of ' error the game is unable to save' along with a  line of numbers (sorry  but I don't have a screen shot of that message') I was able to save though by ending the date, going to manage worlds, clicking on the household I was just playing then once I was on the lot I was able to successfully save my game.

I'm running game version : 1.27.80.1020

The wickedwhims version I have installed is : 2.1.2.094

And the file I have posted is most recent file that has been created

WickedWhimsException.txt

Now upon coming to the site I saw that there was a new update for the mod but the changelog didn't mention anything relating to this topic, so I'm currently at a lost of what I need to do.

Hey stuffhappens!

The new mod update should have fixed this problem.
If you have problems with saving the game or stuck sims try cleaning your save.

Save Clean
There is a chance that after updating or by bugs you will have issues with stuck variables. The best way to deal with them is to clean your save.
You can clean your save in two steps, but start with doing just the first step and see if that helped.

1. WickedWhims saves most extra data in external files that are not embedded withing game saves. Go to you 'saves' folder (Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves) and delete the folder called 'WickedWoohooMod'. You will lose all your settings related to WickedWhims and some extra data, but that should help with possibly stuck variables preventing using the mod.

2. Some extra data is saved using in-game systems. You can clean that by removing WickedWhims from your 'Mods' folder (Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods), turning the game on and saving it. Saving the game without mods installed will remove any extra data that is not needed anymore. You will lose all of your WickedWhims content like skills, buffs and traits, but that should help with possibly stuck variables preventing using the mod.
