How do Fallout 4 lashes work?

Hello!

I have an issue with lashes, I don't understand how they work. I downloaded the true eyes with saturated lashes, which are texture only files (they don't alter any mesh) and the player and npc have the lashes from the eye textures. But I don't want to have those lashes for NPC's, so I downloaded a normal eye replacer, and added the true eyes saturated lashes via CK as a standalone mod. But when I select the eyes from the looksmenu, the color of the eye changes but the lashes don't. I can't figure out how to have two different types of lashes so my character has long lashes and npc's don't.

There's another mod on the nexus that alter the lashes mesh for the player only, but I don't like those meshes, I just what the true eyes lashes.

I don't know if I explained myself well, I hope someone can help me.

Look for a mod on Nexus called Unique Player. Might give you a clue about what you need.
