Hey guys,

 

I've spent two days searching forums and trying to figure out this problem. FNIS' doesn't appear to be reading some animations/mods. (Osex/Animation Packs) I've tried a fresh install of both my game and mods. I've check tes5edit. I've googled my errors. 

 

 

Answers to questions that will probably be asked.

 

 

 

- I am running FNIS through MO.

- I've attempted to run it through my Data directory -Failed-

- I did reinstall everything.

-I checked over my load order to the best of my knowledge.

- I installed all the required mods for all the mods I've downloaded.

- I did check the appropriate patches.

- I do run MO as admin.

- I have watched almost all the FNIS tutorial videos trying to fix this problem. 

- I have the updated skyrim.

To further my on going issue with FNIS/Skyrim now.

 

SL Animation Loader no longer registers my Funnybizz Animations or any other other of the packs I have installed that are shown in my load order. I need help any help. ;___; I'm getting agitated and desperate.

Well, I am seeing some 0sex animation in the FNIS list:

Are there other packs?  The only reason FNIS wouldn't see something is that the packs themselves are installed incorrectly.  HOWEVER, looking at the OSex download, it looks like FNIS is seeing everything.  If you are looking at the "V?.?" and thinking "something is missing", don't.  Ignore those "V?.?".  They are not required for FNIS to work - they are strictly version information that the mod maker can add to the animation text files for display purposes only.

I'm not entirely clear than why I can't get them to work. They just stand still locked in an idle stance. I checked to see if I was missing any idles and I don't appear to be. What should I do?

Is SKSE installed?  Is it installed correctly?  Are you launching the game through SKSE (you need to set up ModOrganizer to launch the game through the SKSE_Loader.exe)?  Make sure to read the documentation for Mod Organizer and SKSE (see the STEP link in my signature).  Also take a look at the pinned threads in the SexLab technical support thread - it has lots of info for trouble-shooting SexLab installations (may not help with OSex, but the info is still useful).  It should also have info on how to set it up to get papyrus logs.  The papyrus logs may provide more info on your actual problem.  Also, silly question - you did ACTIVATE sexlab, correct?  Some people have missed that particular step (SexLab needs to be activated in the MCM for sex animations to work).

 

Some general things:

1)  It's always a good idea to be specific in these kind of reports.  Explain exactly what you are seeing:  The actors are standing merged together, the actors are standing separately but not animating, one actor is standing still and the other is animating, creature not animation but humanoid actors all, etc.

 

2)  Note which mods you are talking about.  You have both SexLab and OSex - are you having a problem with both?  Is one working but not the other?  If the problem is with SexLab, always note what mod initiated the animation - Matchmaker, Defeat, etc.  (I only see Defeat in your list).  A good idea is to download the MatchMaker mod and test with it to see if it's all animations for SexLab.  MM is a simple mod with no other overhead (just 2 spells to make PC/NPC have sex) so it's good to test with (that's actually the main purpose of MM).  Useful to differentiate a general SexLab issue vs a problem with the SL related mod.  As for OSex-specific issues, unfortunately I cannot help with those - don't use it myself.

 

3)  When posting lengthy text like the FNIS results or papyrus logs, either attach them as a text file or post them within a spoiler tag:

[ spoiler ]

FNIS results here - remove the spaces in the tags to make them work...

[ /spoiler ]

 

4)  Finally, make sure you test this on a NEW character.  Cramming new mods into an existing save can have issues.  The best way to test is to create a new character then see if you have the same issues.  Luckily MO makes this easy - duplicate the profile, add the new mods (sort with LOOT, run FNIS, etc), start a new character, and then see if the problem happens in a new character.  If the new character works, then you may have a bad/borked save that needs to either have save cleaner run on them, or it needs to be abandoned and use a new character.

I took your advice and researched if I perhaps installed sexlab incorrectly, but no it seems to be installed correctly. Also yes I do install it within MCM. 

I also took tested both SL/Sexlab/Osex it seems both of them aren't working. Where the animation would begin they just stand meshed together playing the idle animations. I'm really at a lost on what I did wrong. I don't see any errors given anywhere. I'm currently trying to locate my  Papyrus log to see if I can find some answers there.

I had this issue recently on a new character. I solved it simply by putting the FNIS animations (created as a mod from MO's overwrite section) right at the end of my load order, 2nd to last before the skeleton.

HOLY CRAP XD

THAT WORKED! and here I spent 3 days and all I had to do was move that one mod. Thank you so much!
