Xivilai armor and weapons

Recommended Posts

You could always port the oblivion Xivilai outfit to skyrim by exporting the parts out in .OBJ format then loading them into outfit studio and fitting it to the body you want. You will need oblivion though so that you can get the textures needed for the outfit to work.

Good Idea but I am not good at adapting armors with BodySlide.

Thanks for reply anyway.

Both are too sophisticated for a Xivilai imho.

I thought something like this would suit as an armor http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35148/?

If only there is a kind of daedric retexture

It's actually easier then you think. Download the file load the skirt nif into nifskope click the skirt go to file - export in .OBJ name file. Load up the amulet nif and do the same thing. Start outfit studio click start a new project select the body type you want. In nifskope do the export in .OBJ again so that you can grab the .OBJ files as you need them. After you select the body you want to use clcik next then top browse tab and drop one of the .OBJ files from nifskopes folder into the box and select it then next click file load outfit and drop the next .OBJ file into the box and select it.

Highlight both files in the right box and go to shape - scale - and scale them down to 0.10600. Using the authors screenshot you will see that the outfit is backwards for some reason but easy to fix. Just select shape - rotate shape - Z bar slide it to either 180.0000 or -180.0000.

Slide the first boob slider to 100 select the top part and move it down and adjust it. Adjust skirt and scale body parts till you are happy with it. There might be some clipping just leave it till later. Next click bone tab and select all bones then select both the top and bottom armor in the mesh list and go to shape - copy selected weights - shape transfer selected weights. This will add the bone nodes and weight painting to the outfit. Next click export - export with refrence and the armor is done. If there is a weight painting error on export just export it anyway then close outfit studio and open a new one.

Click bone tab and then click the bones till you see which spot is missing the weighting then just paint it with the mouse by holding down the mouse button. Any clipping can be removed by using the increase mesh volume option.

Load nif up and change texture path for nif to match texture path you want to use.
