[Question] How to schlongify an armor with SOS?

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests, I am trying to convert an armor from another mod to one with SOS. Is there a tutorial on how to do so? I'm currently using Nexus's guide on converting it to a custom body, though I don't know how it works with SOS.

Depends on what you want. If you just want the armor to work when equipped by a character that uses a SOS body, then it should be compatible out of the box (SOS textures are very similar to vanilla male ones and the worst that could happen is that you get a not-that-noticeable seam at the thigs).

If you want to adapt the armor to the SOS body shape, then you need to use either Outfit Studio or a 3D modelling program like Blender or 3DS Max to change the shape of the armor to fit the body.

If you want to adapt the armor to the SOS body shape and make it revealing so that the schlong is visible while wearing the armor, then you have to do the above and also add the "SOS_Revealing" keyword to the Armor entry using the CK or TES5Edit.

I remember in SOS is a Option to "Schlongify" any Armor.

Bit what it does or Mean i have no idea, does it mean you see the Schlong even if Armor is Equipped?

Schlongifying the armor means that SOS adds the Slot 52 flag to them so that the schlong is unequipped when you wear the armor. It's required to be toggled on for the mod to work, but I guess the toggle was added in case you had a very script-heavy setup and wanted to toggle it off to remove some pressure from the game.

There is indeed a different option as well to "Mark armor as revealing", which does what you think: makes it so that the schlong is visible when wearing the armor (it basically adds the "SOS_Revealing" tag on runtime).
