cleavagesweat
undoubtedly this must have been asked numerous times but why is there no Witcher 3 presence on LL? Link to comment
windpl
In short, because it is "new" Essentially oblivion, skyrim, fallout3/nv/4 are same game with same moding tools. And another thing witcher modkit dose not give much of freedom. Link to comment

But only in other games like Conan EXILES or TW3 shows who is a real modder. In other games it is absolutely not easy to Modding, because one there not everything on the * silver tray * served gets. And I'm pretty sure, that the next *Elder Scroll* everything else as easily will be to modding. Link to comment
FauxFurry
All of the mods of note are already on The Witcher 3 Nexus so there isn't much need for any TW3 mods to be hosted on LL. Link to comment
vinfamy
Witcher 3 only has nude mods, not sex mods, definitely nothing as extensive as Skyrim. You might have a better luck adding Witcher's characters to Skyrim (as followers or as the player using RaceMenu/ ECE) using various mods and then have sex with them with SexLab: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69939/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68881/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68950/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69893/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71730/? TheCaptn
CDPR just never released tools... In development they'd promised that RedKit 2 was going to be more extensive and powerful than RedKit for Witcher 2, but then they decided not to release it at all. Most of the speculation I've seen revolves around 3rd Party tools being integrated into the kit and creating too many licencing issues (Speedtree is a possible culprit). But then you also can't really compare the modding culture of BethSoft with CDPR... Bethesda basically give you a big sandbox with buckets and shovels and and all the toys then say "have fun kids!"... RedKit was more like a hole in the ground filled with dirt. Kiiiiinda similar, maybe? But with Witcher 3 we've got beautiful pristine lawn. You can play on it, but it's a paddlin' if you start digging it up. Link to comment
nosdregamon
This. The tool is half-assed. You are giving the tool to much credit It's "just" a shortcut that makes ex-changing assets a bit easier. For everything else we need some hacker of Genius-Level "Fore" (I guess that's either "up to eleven" or "Over 9000") which reverse engineer the game-files. Until then: No new Missions, no new levels, no new animations. And even after this, "we" would probably need to create some tools to make editing accessible at all. Obviously there's not even a wonky Quest-Designer like in Creation Kit. Link to comment

nosdregamon
It was supposed to be a little "tonge in cheek", but OTOH modders already did this before the tools were published and textures/meshes in themselves are quite lame. Without new content, playing Skyrim again and again wouldn't be much interesting, either. But modders can and did add new NPCs, new Quest, gameplay overhauls, which make replacing textures/meshes a nice to have along the way. Compare ... "Beating Alduin again, just that this time all sword looks like walking canes and some textures were improved? Why?!" ... to ... "New Quest to solve, new NPCs to meet, it's nearly a new Game to explore. Awesome! Let's put that mesh improvements on it to make it look like a new game, and while we're at it, I just might like to beat the shit out of Alduin with a walking cane..." Link to comment
