Game not detecting mods.

I don't know what went wrong. I was playing FO4, and quit the game to go eat. I come back, launch the game, and all of a sudden, the game isn't detecting ANY installed mods (I use NMM). They are enabled on the plugins tab, but the game wont load them. 

 

Here is what i have tried:

Disabled any read-only files in my FO4 folder.

Disabled any read-only files in my ini folder,

Disabling and re-enabling my plugins.

Run LOOT many times.

Probably some other things as well.

you propably use more than 255 plugins ( DLCs count as well), and the game won't read these plugins if you reach that limit other than that it's an ini issue.

In the 1st case try to merge/disable mods or plugins to be fine

 

Out of subject, but I hope you use FO4Edit to fix conflicts with such a huge list like that.

Yes, Make sure you dont use more as a maximum of 255 Plugin files, nexus will show you how much Plugins you use.

I had this Problem too, all mods get "Unchecked" many many times,

 

ther is a Mod Plugin file or txt saved somewhere on user/appdata...

 

i remember this file has to be set to "read only" or "read and write"

 

Nexus Mod Manager always unchecked all my Plugins for Skyrim, and also Fallout 3, or Fallout 4, and i had no idea why.

 

Also after i installed a Mod this happened.

 

What helped was, i did create a new Nexus Mod Manager Profile, (on the Top Left of Nexus Mod Manager)

i copied my current Profile and saved it.

 

Then it worked for me.

 

I dont know what exactly causes this, but this helped me.

If so, OP must had deleted a line. I do not see "Fallout4.esm" where it's always first line. Something is not right.

That's enought for me to know that he got all Dlcs so 251+7 =258
