T-pose usually occurs because either FNIS was never run, or FNIS Generator had errors in during the run.  Post your FNIS results in a post here - maybe someone can see something in the results that you missed.  To copy, right-click in the results area of the FNIS Generator, select all, copy, then paste into a post (preferably in a spoiler tag:  [ spoiler ]...FNIS results...[ /spoiler ]     (make sure to remove the spaces).

The only other time I know for sure that a T-pose can occurs is there is something wrong with the actual animation - an animation file that Skyrim is expecting is missing, for examples.  Also papyrus lag can cause a T-pose, but usually that is a brief T-pose pause, then it goes back to normal.

"partial t-pose"

What does that look like? Could we have a Screenshot?

FNIS doesn't seem to throw any errors, still, any particular reason you are using an old version? Did you try using 6.3?

Actually you seem to run a lot of outdated Mods (SexLab, Cursed Loot...)

Also, Dangerous Nights 2 seems to be pretty broken currently, not sure if you wanna include it in a playthrough. Just saying.

Looks like your fnis version is old, have you tried with a newer version?

Yep just tried that now and it's still stuck in partial t

That is because you broke the first rule of FNIS. It's right there on the dialog box every time you run it where it says: "Available patches (Don't tick if unknown)" and yet you checked the "Gender Specific Animations".

That is a FATAL error and will result in T-Pose.

Fix the warning, most warnings are fatal. In this case I'd bet you failed to check the "Skeleton Arm Fix" checkbox and since you have a non-vanilla skeleton, you have made yet another fatal error.

The good news of course is that it's simple to fix and you'll be back running the game and enjoying it again very soon.

How exatly do I see what the warnings are/how do I fix them?

You mentioned seeing a warning when you ran FNIS the last time. That would be the warning to fix, specifically as I mentioned you DO need to check the "Skeleton Arm Patch" option because you said you didn't the last time you ran it so you again had a fatal error, but not the same one you had before.

just added the skeleton arm fix, no more warnings, but still geting the t pose, and now there is a message in game saying "SD player refs changed" soooooo idfk what the hell is wrong with it, but i did just find out that hdt physics still works even though everything else doesn't move i can still see the tits and ass jiggle to my hearts content, yay me.

Everyone's helping here, so why don't I chip my 5 cents in as well.

It's quite an unusual error, and before we talk at cross-purposes I like to make a few things sure.

Female character and actors stuck in partial t-pose
  1. You always talk about partial t-pose. With "partial" you mean the usual arms around 30° angle away from the body (and not 90°)

  2. With "stuck" you mean the animations are frozen, and NOT that the actors and especially the player can't move anymore (move with t-pose)

  3. Are ALL females stuck in t-pose? Or maybe only the ones with certain races?

Restricting t-pose to one gender is something you can hardly do with FNIS. Allmost all behavior files are gender neutral, and the 2 FNIS is generating (defaultfemale.hkx, defaultmale.hkx) are so simple, there has never been a problem before. Millions of times. :)

So it's probably the way your females are set up is causing the issue.

What race does your character have?

Did you ever use PCEA (the old one, not my PCEA2). That one can chang the path for vanilla races. Although it would do it for both male and female). Maybe you might post your load order as well.

EDIT: I missed your screenshot. So t-pose is clear. But 2 more questions:

  1. Which mod installation do you use. If you have MO then wrong handling can cause such problems as well
  2. Do you have any files DIRECTLY in "meshes/actors/character" (hkx files, NOT any of its subfolders)

The only thing I see wrong is that you have the wrong Creature Pack installed. You've got the old version and it's evident that it's not being handled since the output declares you don't have it installed but since it's listed it may be causing a problem.

OTOH, you do have the attention of Fore himself now so do answer his questions.

Hi

I had some funky stuff going on with FNIS as well, especially that I ran a ton of animations, not sure if this will work for you but I will describe how I fixed it.

1. Re-download the latest current versions of More Nasty Critters, SOS full, XPMSE, FNIS, FNIS Creatures, FNIS Spells, any other FNIS that may be applicable.

2. Re-install More Nasty Critters, SOS, All of FNIS with FNIS Behaviour (main) the last of the FNIS, then re-install XPMSE the very last and do not install anything else after that.

3. Run Generate Fnis for Users as admin

3. Uncheck everything except the Arm fix, Run FNIS for users, Uncheck the Arm fix and run FNIS for users (this will give you an error, its ok), then re-check the Arm fix and run it a third time. I don't know why but this part was bugged for me and I have to do this a lot, but it does work for me at least and fixes in-game issues. It could be some stuff going on in my OS and not even related to FNIS or Skyrim, I have no clue, but I do know there are other folks out there experiencing this and fixing it this way.

Hope this helps the OP a bit.

sorry that this is a bit late, been busy, but I have started looking into the game more.  both genders are stuck in partial t I have taken out and reinstalled the newer versions of fnis including the creature pack, I install the mods manually because i have had problems with moth nexus and mo in the past, I have tried each race, and I forgot to mention that I am using SIS because i have multiple saves for different mods.  I also get a message saying "[sD] Player ref has been changed.  both when loading the game, and changing anything in the player creation screen.  I do not know if it is talking about defeat for sanguine's debatury.  at this point I am ready to try just about anything so I can do just about anything.
