copying images to harddisk not longer possible?

hi all,

once upon a time, when i clicked on a picture here it opens a new ...window, overlay, whatever, (not links to external sites like postimage or such)  and this had a "save" link. this link is no longer here, andit seems now there is no way to save pictures anymore from the forum threads.

is this intentional, or has something being "updated" on my client side? or is it some setting here on forums?

or are there now 2 sorts of pictures, which can and some which cant be downloaded?

Just drag and drop them into a open folder. Another way if they are ones that you can't drag and drop or right click and save is to use a tool called jing to screen grab what you want. With this tool you can trim down a picture to include what you want and remove most of what you don't want. https://www.techsmith.com/jing.html

hi, thanks alot for the answer and the hints.

later it showed that my firefox browser was a bit messed up, in internet explorer the "save" links were still there. a bit weird, but thats computers....
