How to use Outfit Studio to fix clipping

Recommended Posts

Easiest way to fix clipping if it is seen in the nif would be to load the file into outfit studio then click the increase mesh volume in a area turn on wire frame for the body it makes increasing the mesh in a area easier. Then hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse over the area repeat till gone do not sit in one spot or you will get a bump move it more like you are painting a area. There is a undo button if needed. Export once it looks good and go into game and see how it looks.

Turning on wire frame for the body will also help you see any clipping as the vertices will be showing through and easier to spot.

This is my favourite way to Fix clipping yet

1- give the outfit the preset you want it to have in bodyslide

2- open Outfit Studio

3- File -> Load Reference
3(b)- File -> Load Outfit  (From File "Example.nif")
3(c)- Slider -> Load Preset

4- select the Outfit (right side)
4(b)- Select slider (right side)
4(c)- Fix the outfit with the brushes

5- File -> Export .. to .nif
5(b)- overwrite & save

6- Done

Here is a better explanation by Snakel101 with pictures if you didnt understand my list (english isn't my first language :D )
