If you enjoyed the first one that was a Source engine mod then get ready for a sequel is in the works. Their intention this time is to use Unreal Engine 4 to ensure their plans can go through without technical limtations that Source brought. The sequel is looking to be having an early access release of Q3 2017 but things can change. This time it will cost money around $20 is their current idea for a price tag. System requirements so far seem light especially for today's machines. 4GB RAM, 1GB GPU, 2.0GHz CPU.

Not sure about anyone else but I'm hyped for it. NMRIH was one of the best and underappreciated zombie games out there.

If they keep the "classic" outbreak vibe - its a day 1 buy for me, easily. If they move to arcadey, kiddish direction with special infected and bulletsponging - I am out.
